Christmas Day Swim at Annagh Lake

Break the ice this festive season with the Cavan Icebreakers Swimming Club's 53rd Annual Christmas Day Swim.

The event, which will be held at 11.30am Christmas morning, will see pople of all ages take the plunge into the winter waters of Annagh Lake.

As is tradition, a trophy will be awarded to the youngest girl and boy taking part in the swim. Parents are asked to submit their child's name and age to secretary, Jacinta Dunleavy, before 11.15am that moroning.

The group will also hold a raffle on the morning in aid of the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association (IMND), and are asking everyone to donate what they can to the worthy cause.

The club are inviting the people of Cavan and beyond to take part in their highly anticipated Christmas Day Swim.
