Scattered showers and southerly winds today

The temperatures have risen to between 8 and 12 degrees today.

This morning, persistent rain in Ulster and north Leinster will clear to the northeast. Scattered outbreaks of rain for most areas today, possibly heavy at times in the south and west. Much milder than recent days. Highest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees over Ulster and 8 to 12 degrees further south with fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds.

Tonight will be mild and mostly cloudy with showery rain spreading eastwards. It will be heaviest across southern and western counties, bringing possible spot flooding. Temperatures not dropping below 10 to 13 degrees with fresh and gusty southerly winds.

Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain, heaviest across southern and western counties with spot flooding possible. Mild with highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees. Quite windy also, especially in the southeast, with fresh to strong south to southwest winds.
