Colm Gormley, Gartylough, Arva, Co Cavan. Wednesday Dec 21st, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of College view Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of Marjorie and dear father of Alice (Jim), Michael (Melinda), Kevin (Elin), Mairead and Joan (Raymond). Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, brother Fr Kevin (Missouri), sister Chris Hourican (Fostra), sons in law, daughters in law, his adored grandchildren Alan, Ealanor, Conor, Stephen, Aoibheann, Niamh, Darragh, Eoin, Aoife, Áine and Aisling, great-grandchildren, Jasper, Freya, Maeve and Patrick, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends

Eric Copperthwaite (Arthur Griffith Park, Lucan Co. Dublin and formerly of Bailieborough, Co. Cavan) December 21st 2022, peacefully, after a short illness, at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.
Sadly missed by his loving daughters, sons, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Thursday evening (22nd December) from 6pm until 8pm.
Removal to St. Andrew’s Church, Lucan on Friday afternoon (23rd. December) arriving for a Funeral Service at 1.00pm followed by burial in Old Esker Cemetery.

John Greene
Wolf Tone St., Cavan Town, Cavan / Inishbofin, Galway
John Greene, Wolfe Tone St., Cavan Town and formerly from Innisboffin Island, Co. Galway. Tuesday December 20th2022 peacefully in the loving care of his devoted family and the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home, Lisdarn, Cavan.
John will be very sadly missed and dearly loved by his wife Valerie, daughter Margaret, son in law John Quinn, his adored grandchildren Paul and David, sister in law Jackie, brother in law Joe, nephews, nieces, all his extended family, relations, neighbours and many friends.
May John rest in peace.
John’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the nurses, carers and staff at St. Joseph’s, Lisdarn for their wonderful care of John while he was with them.
John will repose at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan, H12 C821 on Thursday evening from 6pm until 8pm, so please call and extend your condolences to John’s family.
John’s Funeral Mass and burial will take place on Inisbofin Island, Co. Galway on Saturday.

The Death has occurred of Eugene Mc Cabe, Kilmore, Enfield, Co. Kildare and late of Benwilth, Cootehill, Co. Cavan December 20th 2022 peacefully at the Mater Hospital Dublin. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Alice. Brothers Packie and Michael, sister Susan. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Marie, sons Michael, Eugene, Brendan, Kevin and Stephen, sister Alice, daughters in law Orlagh, Sheryl, Victoria, Sharon and Carol, grandchildren Ella, Emily, Jamie, Emilia, Cian, Mikey, Tommy and Liam, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Eugene’s remains will be reposing at his residence this Friday evening the 23rd from 3 pm with a rosary at 8 pm. His funeral mass will be at 12 noon on Saturday the 24th in St Mary’s Church, Broadford and burial immediately afterwards to Kilshanroe Cemetery. House private on Saturday morning, please. Liam O’Hanlon, Drumcoghill, Cornafean, Co. Cavan, Tuesday, December 20th 2022, peacefully at home. Predeceased by his father Frank, mother Bridget, sister Rose, brothers James, Francis, Patsy and Brendan.

Liam will repose at Lakeland’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Thursday evening from 6pm until 8pm. The funeral cortege will leave the funeral home on Friday morning at 10.30am and will travel to Church of the Immaculate Conception, Coronea, arriving for funeral Mass at 11.00am. Burial will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Anna Finnegan, 18 Tullyree, Glaslough, Co.Monaghan. Wednesday 21st December peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Anna will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Stacey, son in law Damien, grandchildren David, Amy & Jack, sisters Elizabeth & Mary, extended family and friends, especially David & Claire Bellew (their children Clodagh & Daíthí) and Jonathan Bellew.

The death has occurred of Una McCrudden nee Gartlan, Clarnagh, Tydavnet, Co.Monaghan and formerly Ballapousta, Ardee, Co.Louth. Wednesday 21st December, peacefully at her home following a short illness.
Pre-deceased by her sister Margaret. Una will be lovingly remembered by her husband Matt, her children, Lorna, Valerie, Paul, Louise & Adrian, their partners and her 11 grandchildren. Sadly missed by her brothers and sister Sean, Brian, Patsy, Harry, Kathleen, Joe & Jim and their extended families.
