January 2nd 2023 at Oak view nursing home, Belturbet.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sister Kathleen (USA), nephews, grand nephews, grand nieces, relatives & friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Lawlor's funeral home, Erne Hill, Belturbet (H14R583) from 10:30a.m tomorrow Wednesday. Removal at 11:15a.m arriving at St. Patrick's Church, Kilnavart for Funeral Mass at 12 o'clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Patrick (Patsy) Briody

Aughavains, Gowna, Cavan

Briody, Patrick (Patsy), (Aughavains, Loch Gowna, Co. Cavan), Tuesday 3rd January 2023, suddenly at the Mater Private Hospital. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Elizabeth, his daughter Kathleen Bouchier, daughter-in-law Margaret, brother Tom and sisters Rose Fitzpatrick and Bridgie Lee. Much loved father of Padraig, Seamus, Anna (McGahern), Thomas, Elizabeth (Shannon), Sean and Brendan, daughters-in-law Annemarie, Sheila, Patsie, Vera and Mags, sons-in-law; Mel, Pat and Aidan, brother Jimmy, sisters; Maureen and Kathleen, sister-in-law Nora, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and extended family members.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home and Crematorium Cavan on Thurs 5th Jan from 5.00pm-7.30pm. Arriving for Requiem mass on Fri 6th Jan at 12pm to the Church Of The Holy Family, Loch Gowna, with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Ann Fox, 7 Hawthorns, Drumgola Woods, Cavan Town, Co. Cavan, formerly of Rebane, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at her residence, Friday 30th December 2022. Predeceased by her grandparents Michael and Stella Fox and Vincent and Mary McArdle. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her partner William Donoghue, her children Caroline, Gerard, Shane and Savannah, granddaughter Kaylah-Rose, parents Aidan and Clare Fox, her sibling’s Patrick, Stella, Eimear, Jenny, Paula, Siobhan, Selina and Gerard, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives, best friend Ann, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence (7 Hawthorns, H12 DK30) on Wednesday afternoon from 3pm to 8pm. Reposing at her family home (Rebane, A75 T448) on Thursday from 7.30pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Bawn (A75 FY98) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Brian Gaffney "Ardeevin", Latt, Cavan, Tuesday January 3rd 2023, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Oakview Nursing Home, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Madge and his infant daughter Therese. Beloved husband of Ann and loving father of Niamh and Domhnall. Greatly missed by his adored grandchildren, Shauna, James and Ella, son in law Fergie, daughter in law Sharon, sisters Helen, Magdalen, Doreen and Breda, brothers Patrick and Kevin, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, all his extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan on Thursday evening from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8.15. Brian's remains will leave his home in Latt on Friday morning at 11.30, travelling to the Cathedral of Saints Patrick and Felim, Cavan, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. The death has occured of Mr Gearóid Mac Gabhann,Kilmacud, Co Dublin. Mac Gabhann (Kilmacud, Co Dublin and formerly of Killinkere, Co Cavan - January 2nd 2023 suddenly and peacefully after a short illness in the care of Glebe House Nursing Home, Kilternan, Co Dublin. Predeceased (July 2021) by his loving wife Connie and his brother Jim Smith (3 Feb 2018). Sadly missed by his children, Gráinne, Gearóid, Lorcán and Bróna, daughters in-law Maria and Jacqueline, sons in-law Niall Murphy and Michael McIntyre, grand children, Odhrán, Clíona, Róisín, Ciarán, Cian, Séadhna, Aran, Barry Saidhbh, Anna, Dara, Siún, Sarah and Rossa, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, brothers and sisters in-law and his many neighbours and friends.

McMahon, Mary (Carrickmines and formerly of Tullyvin, Co. Cavan) – December 31st, 2022 (suddenly) at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, son Barry, daughter-in-law Kirsty, grandchildren Emily, Sophie and Brody, relatives and friends.

Cavan) – January 2nd 2023 (peacefully) surrounded by her family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Michael’s Hospital. Philomena (Phil); dearly beloved wife of the late Frank, much loved mother of Billy and Fran. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters-in-law Eithne and Susan, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Gerry, sisters-in-law May, Joan, Jean and Myra, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her husband Mark & her brothers James, Gene, Pat and Tommy. Peacefully, on Monday, 2nd January 2023, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Jean will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Robert, daughter Doreen, sons Ian, David and Philip, daughter-in-law Wendy-Mae, her treasured grandchildren, sisters Annie (Warnock) and Eileen (Martin) and the entire family circle.

Bernadette will repose at her residence in Knockabaney, Carrickroe on Tuesday evening from 4pm to 10pm and Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm. Bernadette’s funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carrickroe followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
