Eamon Henry

Dunancory, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Eamon Henry, Dunancory, Virginia peacefully at Cavan General Hospital on 4 January 2023.

Predeceased by his parents Alfie and Betty and his brother Bob.

Dearly loved brother of Joe and Irene (Farrelly).

Deeply regretted by his brother and sister, his sister in law Bella and Helen and his brother in law John, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

At Rest.

Resting at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) on Thursday evening from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock.

Eamon's family respectfully request walk through only please to keep everyone safe.

Funeral service in Virginia Parish Church (A82VP96) at 2 o'clock on Friday with burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

The Henry family would like to thank all the staff in St.Joseph's Nursing Home, Virginia for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Eamon and to the nursing staff and doctors in Cavan General Hospital for their wonderful care of Eamon.

Cill Mochuda, Co Átha Cliath agus roimhe sin Cillín Chéir, Co an Chabháin - 2ú Eanáir, 2023 go tobann ach go síochánta tar éis tinneas gairid faoi chúram Glebe House Nursing Home, Cill Tiarnáin, Co. Átha Cliath. Imithe roimhe bhí a bhean chéile, Connie, (Iúil 2021) agus a dheartháir Jim Smith (3 Feabhra 2018). Méala mór a bhás dá chlann, Gráinne, Gearóid, Lorcán agus Bróna, dá bhanchliamhaineacha, Maria agus Jacqueline, dá chliamhaineacha, Niall Murphy agus Michael McIntyre, dá gharchlann, Odhrán, Clíona, Róisín, Ciarán, Cian, Séadhna, Aran, Barry, Saidhbh, Anna, Dara, Siún, Sarah agus Rossa, dá chlann gharchlainne, dá neachtanna agus dá nianna, dá dheartháireacha céile agus dá dheirfiúracha céile, dá chol ceathracha, dá chomharsana agus dá chairde.

The death has occurred of Mr Gearóid Mac Gabhann,Kilmacud, Co. Dublin. Mac Gabhann (Kilmacud, Co Dublin and formerly of Killinkere, Co. Cavan - January 2nd 2023 suddenly and peacefully after a short illness in the care of Glebe House Nursing Home, Kilternan, Co Dublin. Predeceased (July 2021) by his loving wife Connie and his brother Jim Smith (3 Feb 2018). Sadly missed by his children, Gráinne, Gearóid, Lorcán and Bróna, daughters in-law Maria and Jacqueline, sons in-law Niall Murphy and Michael McIntyre, grand children, Odhrán, Clíona, Róisín, Ciarán, Cian, Séadhna, Aran, Barry Saidhbh, Anna, Dara, Siún, Sarah and Rossa, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, brothers and sisters in-law and his many neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his residence in Coolnevaun (A94Y0C5) on Sunday evening from 4 o'clock to 8 o'clock. Removal on Monday morning arriving at St. Laurence O’Toole Church, Kilmacud for funeral mass at 10 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Shanganagh Cemetery.
