Hugh Carolan

Mandistown, Drumconrath, Meath / Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred of Hugh Carolan, late of Mandistown, Drumconrath, Co. Meath and formerly Turners Hill, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Moorehall Lodge Nursing Home, Ardee, 8th January 2023. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen (née McCourt). Greatly missed and always remembered by his son and daughter Pat and Sinéad, daughter-in-law Norma, grandchildren Gerry, Gwen and Hugh, his sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Hall Street, Kingscourt, (A82 R3W2) on Wednesday, 11th January, from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, 12th January, at 10am in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Kathleen Moynagh (née Rossiter)

Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Kathleen Moynagh “nee” Rossiter, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan and formerly, The Ballack, Co. Wexford, passed peacefully in her home on Monday 9th January 2023.

Predeseased by her husband Desmond, brothers Tom and John, sister Molly Connors. Sadly regretted and missed deeply by her five sons, Dessie, Kevin, Brian, David and Raymie, her brother Peter Rossiter, daughter in law’s, Niamh, Ditte and Judy, grandchildren, Barry, Ellie, Holly, Kane, Sam, Stevie, Alex and Liam.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Liam Vesey, Drumbarlum, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, 8th January 2023. Suddenly, at home. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken family, mother Catherine, father Martin, brothers Daniel, Conor, Brendan, Shane, Callum and Jack, darling sister Molly, uncle Anthony and cousin Ronan, relatives and friends.

Liam's remains will be reposing at Lawlor's Funeral Home (H14 R583) on Tuesday, 10th January, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal from his residence on Wednesday morning, 11th January, at 11.30am to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Staghall for 12 noon Funeral Mass followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Philip McAdam

Lisdrumgormley, Clontibret, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Philip McAdam, Lisdrumgormley, Clontibret, Co.Monaghan. Monday January 9th peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Pre-deceased by his son Gene. Philip, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his family, wife Mary-Alice, sons Michael and Maurice, daughter Bernie (McKenna), daughters in-law Joanne and Teresa, son in-law John, his fourteen cherished grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Philip will repose at Wards Funeral Home, Castleblayney (A75 NP30) on Wednesday evening from 3pm until 7pm. Philips funeral cortège will travel from his residence (Lisdrumgormley) on Thursday morning at 11:30am to arrive at St Michael’s Church, Annyalla for funeral mass at 12 noon followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery Clontibret. Eleanor Ronaghan (née Pelly)

Mullaghmore House, Tydavnet, Monaghan

Peacefully after a very short illness in the presence of her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Peadar and brothers Fred and Joe.

Eleanor will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Nicola, sons Peter and Andrew, grandchildren Tom, Harry, Alicia, Ben, Marcus and David, daughters in law Suzanne and Maura, son in law Nick, brother in law John and his wife Sally, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Removal from her home on Tuesday (10/01/2023) at 6 p.m., arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan at 7 p.m.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (11/01/2023) at 11 a.m. followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 5.30 p.m.
