Odhrán Connolly, Carsan, Dartry, Rockcorry, Co. Monaghan, January 21st 2023, suddenly. Darling son of Paddy & Lisa. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family his parents Paddy & Lisa, brothers Oisín, Tiarnach, Pádraig and sister Aoibhínn, grandparents Brendan & Geraldine Sheridan, and Ollie and Bridie Connolly, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the residents of his Grandparents Brendan & Geraldine Sheridan Lisarney, Lisnageer (H16 EN26) this Wednesday from 2 till 8. Removal leaving his residents Carsan on Thursday at 11.30 to arrive at Holy Trinity Church, Dartry for 12noon funeral mass. Burial will take place in Corrinshigo Cemetery, Drum, Co.Monaghan. Family home Carsan, Dartry, Rockcorry strictly private please.

One way system will be operate with entry to Lisarney Lane via Lisnageer and exit onto the Bunnoe-Cootehill Road. The Connolly and Sheridan family would like to thank you for your Cooperation and Consideration at this difficult time.

Christopher (Kit) Finnegan

Turners Hill, Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred of Christopher (Kit) Finnegan, Turners Hill, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, peacefully at his home and surrounded by his loving family, 24th January 2023. Predeceased by his children John-Andrew & Julie-Anne and his brother Fr. Michael. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Philomena, daughter Catherine, son Michael, daughter-in-law Lorraine and beloved grandchildren Chloe, Max and Ronan. Sadly missed by his sisters Nan, Mary, Tilly & Evelyn, brothers Patsy & Nicholas, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home (A82 X6Y8) on Wednesday, 25th January, from 2pm to 8pm and on Thursday, 26th January, from 12pm to 3pm. Removal from his home on Thursday evening, 26th January, at 6.30pm to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt arriving for 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt, at 10am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Denis King

Ranelagh, Dublin / Cavan

Denis King (Ranelagh and formerly of Drumkilly, Co. Cavan) 21st January 2023.Peacefully under the care of the wonderful staff in I.C.U at St James’s Hospital. Dearly beloved husband of Olive and loving father of Michelle and Ken. Denis will be greatly missed by his loving family, his daughter-in-law Noelle, son-in-law Paul, grandchildren Kerrin, Shona and Zoe, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road on Wednesday (Jan 25th) between 4pm and 6pm. Glenickney, Glaslough, Monaghan

The death has occurred of George Brennan, Glenickney, Glaslough, Co.Monaghan. Tuesday 24th January, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his wife Kathleen. daughter Lesley & daughter in law Jackie. Lovingly remembered by his sons Gary, John & Martin, daughters in law Gillian & Hannah, grandchildren, his brothers Bernard & Dinny, extended family and friends.

Georges remains will repose at McMahons Funeral Home, Emyvale, H18 FK80, on Tuesday from 6pm to 9pm and Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am at St.Mary's Church, Glennan. Burial afterwards in Drumbannagher Cemetery.

Margaret Brennan (née Mone)

Castleshane, Monaghan, H18 KD28

The death has occurred of Margaret Brennan (nee Mone) Moyetra, Castleshane, Co. Monaghan, H 18 KD 28, Tuesday, the 24th of January, suddenly, surrounded by her beloved family, in the wonderful care of the staff in Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Sarah and John, brothers Desmond and Benny. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband Cathal, her children Declan (Eileen), Des (Mandy) Moira (Matthew)and Enda (Geraldine), her nine cherished Grandchildren, her brothers Patsy and Sean, her sister in laws and brothers in laws, niece and nephews, relatives and friends.

Margaret will be reposing at her residence on Wednesday and Thursday from 3pm until 9pm, until removal from her residence on Friday morning for 11am funeral Mass in St Mary’s Church, Clontibret and burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

A one-way system will be in place at Clontibret Chapel and down the old road.

Ambrose Daly

Blackfort Road, Lisnashannagh, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Ambrose Daly. Blackfort Road, Lisnashannagh, Carrickmacross, formerly London & Market Hill, Co. Armagh. 23rd January 2023. Peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmacross. Predeceased by his son Colin, his parents Jimmy & Annie, his brother Jim and his sisters Jean & Mary.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his cherished family, his wife Kathleen, his daughters Irene & June and his daughter-in-law Beverley, his adored grandchildren Oonagh, Jamie, Sacha, Ciara, Ross & Daniel and his great-grandchildren Ronnie & Frankie, his sisters Eilish & Ann, his brother Brendan, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Ambrose will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Thursday, 26th January, from 5pm until 7pm.

Ambrose's funeral cortège will leave the Funeral Home on Friday, 27th January, proceeding via Blackfort Road to St Enda's Church, Killanny, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 1:45pm.

Mai Geoghegan (nee Ward) Conabury and formerly Central Hotel, Castleblaney and Church St, Cavan January 24th in the loving care of the excellent staff of Broomfield House, Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmacross. Pre-deceased by her husband Michael, parents James and Florence, brothers Patsy and Seamus and son-in-law Gerry Feeney. Sadly missed by her sons Pat, Bernard and Michael, daughters Deirdre (Comiskey), Geraldine (Feeney), Mary (Callan) and Lucia (Hamilton) her sisters Rosaleen Short and Elizabeth Coleman, sons-in-law daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends. R.I.P.

Reposing at her residence 2, Conabury, Castleblayney (Eircode A75 PP70) from 7pm to 10pm on Tuesday and from 1pm to 10pm on Wednesday. Removal from her home on Thursday morning at 11.45am to St. Mary's Church, Castleblayney for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Peter Murray, Tullyvogey, Tydavnet, Co.Monaghan, H18 VA00. Monday 23rd January, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Mullinahinch Nursing Home, Monaghan.

Predeceased by his parents Eugene & Rose, sisters Rita, Lily, Eileen & May, brothers Paddy, Hugh, Joe & Michael. Lovingly remembered by his wife Margaret, twin sister Bridget, brothers in law Francie, Tom & Pat, sisters in law Joan & Eileen, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family & friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Peter's remains will repose at his residence from 3pm to 9pm on Tuesday & Wednesday. Removal on Thursday evening to arrive at St.Mary's Church, Urbleshanny for evening prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11am, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
