Charlie Keaney, Derrin, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan. Wednesday, January 25th (suddenly) at his home. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Bridie, daughters; Cathriona, Fiona, Breda and Katie, sons; Matthew, Cathal, Sean and Thomas, sister Kathleen (Galligan), brothers; Sean, Mattie, Tommie and Philip, grandchildren; Ciara, Sean, Eva, Shauna, Dylan, Luke, Alex and Rían, daughters in law Sarah and Lorraine, sons in law Ciaran and Stephen, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many friends.

Rose O'Reilly (nee Flood) Late of Pottlebrack, Bailieborough, Co.Cavan and formerly Behey, Stradone Co.Cavan. Died 26th January 2023, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Pat, Predeceased by her brother Eddie, sister Margaret and daughter-in-law Breege. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons Jim, Gene, Vincent, Declan and daughter Anna Marie. Sadly missed by her sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Fiona, Anne and Jennifer, son-in-law Jim, her adored grandchildren Aisling, Sinead, Clodagh, Eadaoin, Cian, Aoife, Niall, Cormac, Sarah, Beibhinn, Olivia, Tiffany, Sophia, Chloe and Amy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough, This Friday evening from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning from her residence to St.Brigid's Church, Knockbride West arriving at 11.30am for Funeral Mass, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private please.

Ann Sheridan (née Mulvany)

Crossreagh, Mullagh, Cavan / Kells, Meath

The death has occurred peacefully of Ann Sheridan née Mulvany Crossreagh, Mullagh, Co. Cavan and formerly St. Colmcille's Villas, Kells, Co. Meath, 26th January 2023 at her residence. Predeceased by her beloved husband Charlie and daughter Marion, and her brothers Liam and John.

Sadly missed by her family, sons John, Leo, David and daughter Julie, daughter in-law Caroline, son in-law John, grandchildren, Karl, Shane, Ciara, Amy, Rachel, and Pauric, her sisters, Marie and Sheila and her brothers Gene and Dessie.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) on Friday 27th from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass Saturday 28th in St. Mary’s Church, Cross at 11am followed by burial in Mullagh Cemetery.

John Smith

Knockalla, Bailieborough Road, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of John Smith, Knockalla, Bailieborough Road, Virginia, unexpectedly, but peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, in the company of his best friend and wife Marian.

Predeceased by his parents Nancy and John F.

Much loved husband of Marian.

Deeply regretted and sorely missed by his loving wife, his sisters Rosemarie and Anne, his brother in law Gerry, his niece Marita, his relatives and his many friends including Virginia Men's Shed, Virginia Christmas Lights, Motor Home Gathering and all his music friends.

Remains reposing at Matthews' Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia ( A82YV58), on Saturday from 4 o'clock until prayers at 8.15 o'clock. Walk through only, please.

Removal to Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia, on Sunday arriving for 2 o'clock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Maghera.

The death has occurred of John Dolan. Castleblayney Road, Carrickmacross, 26th January 2023, in his 92nd year. Peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, in the wonderful care of the staff at St Mary's Nursing Home, Castleblayney. Predeceased by his first wife Phyllis, his parents James & Rita, his brothers Packie-Joe & Jim and his sisters Alice, Bridie & Kathleen.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family, his wife Eilish, his children Margaret, Marion, Deirdre, Tony & Sharon, his sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, his adored grandchildren & great-grandchildren, his sisters Mary, Margaret (USA), Ann (UK), and Lilly, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

John will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Saturday, 28th January, from 4pm until 8pm.

John's funeral cortège will leave the Funeral Home on Sunday, 29th January, at 11:40am, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
