A foggy day ahead with spots of drizzle

The day will remain mostly dry

Mostly cloudy today with some patches of drizzle or mist, but overall lots of dry weather. Some brighter intervals, especially in the southeast this afternoon. However, outbreaks of rain will develop in the north and west through the afternoon, tracking southeastwards across the country during the evening and early tonight. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees with moderate southwest winds increasing fresh westerly later.

Rain and drizzle will clear to the southeast tonight, and becoming dry with clear spells, with westerly winds generally falling light. Frost or ice patches may form as temperatures fall to between -1 to +3 degrees, not as cold though across northern counties where winds will be fresher.

Mostly dry on Monday with bright or sunny spells at first, best of these in the east. Cloud will gradually increase during the afternoon as patchy rain and drizzle develops in western areas towards evening. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees in light to moderate southwest breezes.
