It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past 24 hours, as reported on RIP.ie

Marian Lynch (née Brady)

Mullaghmore, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

The death has occurred of Marian Lynch, Mullaghmore, Ballyjamesduff and formerly Tierlahood Cross, peacefully at Beaumont Hospital Dublin, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Mary-Ann and Patrick and her sisters Margaret and Marie and her brother Stephen.

Much loved wife of Francis and much loved mother of Sandra ( Phair) and Amanda ( Ferguson).

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband and daughters, her sons in law Noel and Damien, her cherished and adored grandchildren Flynn, Clodagh, Ewan and Lauren, her brothers John, Jim, and Patsy, her sisters Dympna ( Brady) and Angela Smith, her brothers in law and sisters in law, nieces, neph­ews, relatives and friend­s.

Rest In Peace

Remains reposing at Matthews' Funeral Home ( A82YV58) on Monday from 4 o'clock until prayers at 7 o'clock.

Removal to St. Mary's Church, Castlerahan, on Tuesday for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Christina Cunningham,

Farranseer, Arva, Cavan

Christina passed away peacefully on the 4th of February 2023, in the loving care of her family. Predeceased by her husband Frank, brothers Seamus and Thomas and sister Eileen. Sadly missed by her loving son Francis, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

May she Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Finnegans Funeral Home and Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan from 4pm Sunday the 5th of February, concluding with prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Cornea on Monday the 6th of February at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

House private please.

Eileen Kilcoyne (née Conaty)

Lateaser, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Eileen Kilcoyne (nee Conaty), Lateaser and late of Ballyjamesduff and Carn Crosskeys, February the 4th, peacefully in the care of the staff at Virginia Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved daughter Kelly, mother Ellen, father Paddy and brothers Philip and Patrick. Much loved mother in law of Damien, adorned grandmother of Elle and Teagan. Sadly missed by her brother Seamus, sisters Bridie and Kathleen, sister in law Susan, brother in law Len, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Matthews' Funeral Home, Virginia, on Sunday the 5th of February from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Ballyjamesduff, with burial afterwards in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Crosskeys.

Michael (Mick) McCarron

Mullinacask, Killybrone, Clara, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) McCarron, Mullinacask, Killybrone, Clara, Co.Monaghan. Saturday, 4th February, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Pre-deceased by his father John, mother Mary Ann and brother Jim. Mick will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Mick's remains will repose at McMahons Funeral Home, Emyvale, H18 FK80, on Saturday from 6pm - 8pm and Sunday from 6pm - 9pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am at St. Patrick's Church, Clara. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
