It’s panto time in Kells!

Red Riding Hood runs from February 17 to February 26 over two weekends

Dress up the kids young and old, order the pop corn, flex your vocal chords and book your seats early for another action packed, fun filled roller coaster ride down in panto land with Kells musical and dramatic society’s 46th enchanting panto ‘Red Riding Hood’.

Written and directed by John Grant this magical show also features an original song written by Grant called ‘Chariot of Dreams’.

Little Red Riding Hood (Ciara McKenna) puts on her cape and goes to deliver food to her grandma (John Grant - Granny Gruesome) but on her journey she makes a big big mistake. Everyone told her not to dilly dally but did she dilly and dally? Oh yes she did… stopping to collect flowers for granny in the spooky woods. On arrival at Grandma’s cottage all havoc breaks loose, as waiting for her is the big and very bold wolf (Pat Byrne). What has happened to Granny? And what will happen to Little Red Riding Hood?

Red Riding Hood will also be joined by friends along her journey.

The show is bursting with wonderful dance routines and plenty of great singing along with magical sets, colourful costumes, audience participation galore and of course, all your favourite panto characters enjoying a happy ending.
