Saturday sport: Ireland keep Grand Slam dreams alive; Kerry beat Armagh in Tralee

Ireland have beaten Italy by 34-20 in the Six Nations match in Rome.

Andy Farrell's side remain on course for the Grand Slam after the bonus-point win at the Stadio Olimpico, with tries from Mack Hansen, Hugo Keenan, Bundee Aki and captain James Ryan.

In the second game of the day, England beat Wales 20-10 in Cardiff.

Soccer

In the Premier League, Aston Villa took a 2-0 win against Everton and Arsenal won 1-0 away to Leicester City.

Elsewhere West Ham got a strong result against Nottingham Forest, winning 4-0, and Leeds took a home win over Southampton thanks to a goal from Junior Firpo.

In the later games, Manchester City beat Bournemouth 4-1 and it ended scoreless between Crystal Palace and Liverpool.

GAA

In the Allianz National Football League, Austin Stack Park played host to a close encounter in Division One, with the hosts getting a hard-fought win over Armagh, ending 0-12 to 0-11.

In the second of the day's fixtures in the top division, Mayo took a comfortable win over Tyrone, ending 4-10 to 0-12.

Kerry have booked their place in the Division 1 final of the Lidl National Women’s Football League.

They've seen off Meath in Brosna by 1-18 to 0-09.

In the later game, Dublin beat Mayo 2-11 to 2-7.

In Division 1A of the Very Camogie Leauge, Kilkenny suffered a 1-16 to 1-13 defeat against Galway at Nowlan Park, while Tipperary bested Dublin 2-13 to 1-6 and Cork took a 2-19 to 1-10 win against Clare.

Boxing

Kellie Harrington will fight for gold at the Strandja Memorial Tournament in Bulgaria on Sunday after securing a semi-final win.

Her teammates Amy Broadhurst and Christina Desmond also booked spots in Sunday's finals, while Kelyn Cassidy will take home bronze.
