Gardaí appeal for witnesses following fatal collision in Clones

A woman in her 70's was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí are currently investigating a fatal road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian that occurred at 10:45pm last Saturday night April 8 outside Clones.

The accident which happened on the Newbliss Road at Clonavilla resulted in the death of a woman in her 70s.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage - including dash-cam - and were travelling on the Newbliss Road (R183) in the Clonavilla area between 10pm and 11pm are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
