VW Golf sought in connection with burglaries

Break-ins occurred in the north Monaghan area.

The whereabouts and movements of a silver-coloured Volkswagen Golf is being sought by An Garda Siochana as part of their investigation into a number of recent burglaries/

Gardaí in Castleblayney are appealing for information in relation to a burglary that occurred at approximately 10am on Friday, May 19, in the Silverstream area.

A sum of money was taken during the break-in and the “silver VW Golf is believed to have been involved”.

The car bears a partial registration 08 D, and is being linked also to another burglary that occurred shortly afterwards at Carrickaderry, Clontibret.
