Fine weather to continue, although Sunday will be cooler

Mostly dry conditions as high pressure dominates. Cooler on Sunday with warm weather in many areas next week.

That's the latest weather outlook from Met Éireann.

And mist or fog patches will soon clear. Dry today with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees with a mostly light northeast breeze.

Clear and calm for most tonight with some mist and fog. A cloudier night for parts of the north and west. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees.

Any fog will clear early tomorrow morning. Saturday will bring a mix of cloud and sunshine. There will be some spots of drizzle along with isolated showers, but overall there will be a good deal of dry weather. Highs for most between 18 to 21 degrees. It will be cooler across the northwest as a light to moderate northwesterly wind develops.

Any lingering showers at first Saturday night will die out, becoming largely dry. Variable cloud cover with some clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees with light northerly winds.

A cooler day on Sunday with highs generally between 14 and 18 degrees, although temperatures may struggle to reach the teens in the north. Light or moderate northeast winds. Mainly dry and quite cloudy with the chance of a shower in the south. Turning mostly sunny later in the afternoon.

Cool on Sunday night with lowest temperatures between 4 and 7 degrees. A dry, clear night with light northeasterly breezes.

Good sunny spells on Monday with just a little cloud building during the day. Highs between 17 to 20 or 21 degrees, warmest over the western half of the country and coolest along the eastern coast with a light to moderate easterly wind.

A sunny day again on Tuesday with a light or moderate easterly wind. Somewhat cool along the east coast but warm further to the west, with highs ranging 15 to 20 or 21 degrees.

Further outlook: Little change, likely continuing mostly dry with an easterly airflow. Coolest in the east with highs in the mid to high teens. Warmest in the west, with temperatures around 20 degrees or higher.
