Wet and breezy conditions transferring eastwards over the country at first this morning, giving way to brighter and fresher conditions with sunny spells and showers spreading from the west. Some of the showers could be heavy with a chance of isolated thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees, warmest in the east. Moderate to fresh southerly winds will veer westerly and ease light to moderate with the clearance of the rain.
Tonight will bring clear spells and well scattered showers. It will be less warm and humid than previous nights, with lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees, in a light southwest wind.
Tomorrow Monday will bring a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers, some heavy in Ulster. Cloud will thicken as the day goes on, with patchy rain and drizzle developing in western counties in the evening. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees in light to moderate south to southwest winds, freshening near western coasts later.
