Unexpectedly but peacefully at his home, on the 26th June 2023.
Much loved and cherished son of Eamonn and Martina and much loved brother of Hugh, Ciarán and Brían.
Sadly and sorely missed by his heartbroken parents and brothers, his uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) on Thursday evening from 5 o'clock until prayers at 8.30 o'clock.
Removal on Friday morning to arrive to St. Matthew’s Church, Maghera for 12 o'clock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
House strictly private at all times please.
Patrick (Pat) King
Fostra, Aughnacliffe and Carra, Granard, Longford
Formerly Main St. Granard, died Monday 26th June 2023 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family after a short illness fought with immense strength.
Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Gertie.
Pat will be deeply regretted by his brothers and sisters, Stephen, JJ, Gertie (Philips) and Mairead (Cerasi), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews nieces, relatives and friends.
Pat will also be sadly missed by his 2nd family, his friends and wonderful staff at the Hillview House community residence.
Reposing at Smith’s Funeral Home, Barrack St., Granard, on Thursday the 29th from 5pm to 7pm. Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Granard, on Friday the 30th for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by Christian burial in Granardkill Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to St. Christophers Services Longford c/o Smith’s Funeral Directors or any family member.

Margaret (Peggy) Madden (née Kearney)

Formerly of Kilmurry, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon.
June 27th 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents John and Margaret, brothers Paddy and John and her granddaughter Christina.
Peggy will be sadly missed by her devoted husband Vincent, her children Susan, Tony and Rita, her grandchildren Daniel, Daina and Rebecca and her great-grandson Elijah and Daina’s partner Jordan, her sisters Annie, Bridie, Mary and Eileen, sisters in-law, brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and wide circle of friends.
Peggy will be reposing at her residence (A82 YY82) this Wednesday evening from 4pm to 8pm, walk through only.
Funeral mass will be on Thursday afternoon at 12pm in the Church of the Assumption, Ballinlough, Kells (A82 HY20) with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Joe, grandson Jamie, sisters Mary, Kathleen and Alicia, brothers Noel, Frankie and Owenie.
Carmel will be dearly missed by her loving family; Eugene, John, Brian, Joseph, Annie, Oliver, Vincent, Carmel and Clare, her treasured grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister Patricia, brother Louis, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle.

Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Emma, Eddie, Olivia and Cyril.
Wilfie will be very sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend Elizabeth, daughter Hilary(Rodney) sons, Alan(Julie), Neville(Joanne) and Glenn and Grandad to Leah, David, Amy, Jenny, Lucy, Joshua, Amelia, Ethan and Erin and all the family circle, neighbours and friends.

Service of thanksgiving and celebration of Wilfie's life will take place in St. Sillian's Parish Church Tyholland on Thursday 29th June at 2pm followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.

Deeply regretted by his loving children Patrick, Siobhan and Erin and his adored grandchildren, his son-in-law and daughter-in-law, sisters Pauline (Fleming), Maura (Marron) and brother Martin, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt and uncle, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Patsy’s funeral will take place in New York.
A memorial Mass and interment of ashes will take place in St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Magheracloone, details of which will be published at a later date.
