Eddie Smith

Lackenclare, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Peacefully, at Mullinahinch Nursing Home. Sadly missed by his loving brother Hugh, sisters Bridie and Mary, relatives, and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his residence (Lackenclare, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan), tomorrow Sunday, from 2pm until 6pm for close neighbours and friends. Removal on Monday to arrive at St. Matthew's Church, Crosskeys, for Funeral Mass at 11am, burial afterwards in St. Dympna's Cemetery Lower Lavey.

Baby Luke Laurence Kelly

Shantemon, Cavan, H12X892

Luke Laurence Kelly. Died 05/07/23. Aged 11 months. Passed away suddenly at Cavan General Hospital. Special and loved son of Helena and Barry. The best baby brother to Rían and Eva. Forever missed by his grandparents John Joe and Breege Lyons, and, Leo and Dympna Kelly. His uncles, aunts, many cousins and extended family.

Luke left an impression on everyone who was fortunate to meet him.

RIP baby Luke, our little heart warrior xxx.

Please note the family home is private to family and friends only, outside of the reposing time. Reposing at the family home, in Shantemon H12X892, Sat 8th July, from 3-6 only. Removal on Monday morning to St. Patrick's Church, Castletara. Mass of the Angels at 12:00. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Baby Bodhy Mc Namara

Glenlara, Cavan Town, Cavan

Baby Bodhy McNamara, Glenlara, Swellan, Cavan Town, beloved grandson of the late Pat McNamara, killycannon, Cavan. Passed away peacefully on the 30th June 2023 aged four weeks. Darling baby boy of Finian and Letitia McNamara, (nee Carmichael) and beautiful brother of Yari and Lyla. Baby Bodhy will be so sadly missed and forever loved by his heartbroken parents, his Ga Ga Jim and Nanny Helen (Carmichael) and his Nana Marion (McNamara), uncles, aunts, cousins, grand aunts, grand uncles, and the many people who will always love him.

Baby Bodhy will repose at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan H12 C821 today Saturday from 4pm until 6pm with all his family and everyone is welcome. Mass of the Angels will be celebrated in the Cathedral of Ss Patrick & Felim, Cavan tomorrow Sunday at 1pm and will be followed by interment with his grandad Pat in the family plot in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Killygarry. O’BRIEN Paddy (Sandymount Avenue, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 and formerly of Aughavas, Co. Leitrim and Bailieborough, Co. Cavan) July 5, 2023. Peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband of Myrnie and loving father of Valerie and Shirley. He will be dearly missed by his devoted wife, his daughters, sons-in-law James and Victor, his adored grandsons Niall and Tom, sisters Nelly, Patsy and Josie ,brother-in- law Michael, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Peader Dooley. Dundalk Road, Essexford, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan. 7th July 2023. Peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by his parents Patrick & Cait and his brothers Seamus & Sean.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family, his wife Kathleen, his daughter Paula (Ivor) and his sons Shane (Sandra) & Peter (Niamh), his adored grandchildren; Ellen, Evan, Hannah, Holly & JP, his brothers Padraig, Thomas & Terence and his sisters Mary, Mairead, Caith, Pauline & Áine, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends & neighbours.

The death has occurred of Desmond (Dessie) Mc Mahon, Louth Village, Co. Louth and formerly of Moylemuck, Lisnalong, Co. Monaghan, Thursday 6th July, peacefully at his residence. Predeceased by his parents James and May. Dessie, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his sons Joey and DJ, daughters Donna and Michaela and their mother Nuala, brothers Padraig and Alan, sister Grace, grandchildren Leah, Alisha and Mylo, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Dessie will repose at Wards Funeral Home, Ballybay (A75 H585) on Sunday July 8th, from 3pm until 7pm. Removal from Wards Funeral Home, Ballybay on Monday morning at 10:40am (proceeding on foot) to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballybay for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
