Another wet day ahead with heavy spells of rain forecast

Dull, damp and misty this morning with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, heaviest and most persistent over the northern half of the country with possible spot flooding. Rain will clear to sunny spells in the north and west later in the afternoon. However, it will continue wet in the south and east for much of the day with further heavy rain at times. Highs of 15 to 19 degrees, with mostly moderate northeasterly winds, fresher near coasts.
Rain in the south and east will clear by around midnight, becoming dry and clear in most areas. A few passing showers will follow. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees in light to moderate northerly breezes.
Tomorrow will bring a mix of cloud and bright spells. There will be well scattered light showers with plenty of dry intervals. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees, coolest in the north and northwest with light to moderate northwest breezes.
