It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past 24 hours, as reported on RIP.ie
Marie Faherty
(née Brady)
East Wall, Dublin / Butlersbridge, Cavan / Carraroe, Galway
Suddenly, surrounded by her loving family. Marie is deeply missed by her husband Tom, her children Eileen and Ciaran, their spouses David and Kathryn, her grandchildren David, Lucy, Aoife, Liam and Ronan, her brother Gerard, sisters Bridget and Eileen, brothers in laws, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing at home in East Wall (D03 XE92) on Tuesday, September 5th, from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral mass on Wednesday at 10am in St Joseph’s Church, East Wall. Marie will travel to Galway after mass where she will repose in the hall beside Lettermore Church (H91 F5W4) on Wednesday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Burial in Clynagh Cemetery on Thursday, September 7th at 1pm.
Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Irish Heart Foundation.

Dayle Reilly
Carraig Beag, Drumalee, Cavan
Dayle Reilly, Carraig Beag, Drumalee, Cavan. Monday September 4th 2023, suddenly. Darling eldest son of Padraig and Tracey and loving big brother of Jake and Eva.
Predeceased by his Grandad Brian and Granny Maureen Smith, and auntie Angela Reilly.
Dayle will be sadly missed and forever loved by his heartbroken parents, brother, sister, grandad Gerry Reilly, his nanny Rosaleen Reilly, aunts, uncles, cousins, all his school friends, friends and players with Drumalee GAA and his many other friends and neighbours. May he rest in eternal peace and happiness.
Dayle will repose at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Wednesday evening from 5pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm.
Removal from his home in Carraig Beag, Drumalee on Thursday morning to the Cathedral of Ss Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving for funeral mass at 11am. Following mass the cortège will travel to St.Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry, via St Felim's GAA grounds, Drumalee and the Dublin Road, for committal prayers and burial in the family plot. Formerly of Swords Co. Dublin and Aughawelia, Carrigan, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan, unexpectedly but peacefully at his home on 3th September, 2023.

The death has occurred of Peter James, Lisnagalliagh, Latton, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan. Sunday September 3rd, suddenly at his residence. Predeceased by his daughter Clare and parents Jim and Margaret.
Peter, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his family, wife Kathleen, daughters Helen (Ronan), Angela (Emlyn) and Catherine (Joe), brother Philip and sister Sally both Australia, his cherished grandchildren, Patrick, Jess, Christian, Katie, Ethan and Ella, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Peter will repose at his residence in Lisnagalliagh (A75RX01) on Wednesday from 3pm until 8pm. Removal from the residence on Thursday morning at 10:30am to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Latton for funeral mass at 11am, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Parkinson’s Association Ireland, C/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.
House private to family outside of reposing times and on Thursday morning by request.
