A musical family treat to be found in Kells!

Kells Musical Society presents a musical treat 'Oliver meets Annie' for all the family in Kells Theatre in the coming weeks.

A hugely talented cast of 80 performers – children, teens and adults will whisk you away to Dickensian London Town.

Annie, played by Lucy Jarrett escapes from an orphanage run by the mean Miss Hannigan (Barbara O'Neill) in search of her long-lost brother. Annie believes that he has the other half of a locket given them at birth. Meanwhile a young orphan Oliver Twist (Kiefer Byrne) escapes from a boys' workhouse to search for his long-lost sister who he hopes has the other half of a locket given them at birth. Will they ever meet up again?

To find out, head along to this wonderful family musical written and directed by Kells Musical Society stalwart John Grant. The musical is full of great foot-tapping songs from both shows Oliver and Annie and with great colourful sets and lighting and a great stage crew and production team, it promises to be a wonderful exciting family show.

Evening performances run from Thursday through to Saturday, September 21-23 at 7.30pm; and there are two matinees on Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24 at 2.30pm.
