The death has occurred of Anne Bernadette Cleary (née Walton) Coolock, Co.Dublin, Maghera, Virginia, Co.Cavan and recently Punta Prima Spain. Peacefully in Torrevieja University Hospital Spain, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved Wife of Jim, sister Catherine, Adored by Fr. Mark, Lee, Anne, Lisa, Byran, Ella, Jamie, Layla, Emily, LJ. Sadly missed by her broken hearted Husband, and extended family, relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends in Spain and Ireland.

Mary Fannon (nee Burns) Elm Grove and Fairview, Cavan Town. October 1st 2023, peacefully in the loving care of her family and the staff of St. James Hospital, Leeds. Predeceased by her parents Kathleen (Katie) and John, sister Nancy ,brothers Johnny and Andy, daughter Catherine and son in law Derek. Beloved wife of the late Don Fannon and devoted mother of Andrew (Gay) Caroline, Mary (Mick) Barbara, Donna (Aodhgán) Anita, Josephine (Covo) Anthony (Jolene) and Philomena (Alan). Mary will be sadly missed by her family. Her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister in law Margaret, all her relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Monday 2nd October 2023 peacefully in Lisdarn Unit Cavan surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Howard and son Neville.
Betty will be very sadly missed by her daughter Lorraine, son Warren, daughters-in-law Siobhán and Melissa, son-in-law Cell, grandchildren Aaron, Ellen, Lauren and Adam and her beloved snowie, brother Ernie, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.
Betty will be resting at her residence in Drumkillrooske tomorrow, Tuesday, from 4pm until 9pm. House private outside of reposing times please. Funeral cortege leaving the family home on Wednesday afternoon, arriving at Derrylane Parish Church for funeral service at 2.30pm followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard. The funeral service will be live streamed here
Family flowers only please, donations in-lieu would be much appreciated to the Patient Comfort Fund, Lisdarn unit for the Elderly, Cavan c/o Clive Magee Funeral Director or any family member.

The death occurred of Ross Mealiff (Hotel Kilmore, Cavan), Altertate, Clones, Co. Monaghan, (H23ER28) peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, Monday 2nd October. Predeceased by his father Jim and sister Linda. Beloved husband of Kate (formerly Catheriona Caraher, Ballybay) and adored father of James (Eimear) and Hannah. Ross will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughter, son, by his heart broken mother Joan, sister Sandra (Mc Guigan), brothers David and Sammy, father and mother-in-law Frank and Maggie (Caraher, Ballybay), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, staff and work colleagues Hotel Kilmore Cavan, many friends and by all who knew and loved Ross.

Ross will be resting at the family home Altertate, Clones, Co. Monaghan (H23ER28) on Tuesday 3rd from 4pm to 9pm and again Wednesday 4th from 4pm to 9pm. House strictly private to family at all other times please including Thursday morning.

Ross’ funeral cortège to the church will leave the family home at 10.15am and travel via The Diamond.

Sylvia Moran (née Smyth) Farnadolly, Cavan. Sunday, October 1st 2023 peacefully in the loving care of her family and the staff at Cavan General Hospital. Pre deceased by her parents James and Maisie Smyth and her brother Samuel. Beloved wife and best friend of Alex and devoted mother of Glen (Bríd) Paul (Niamh) and Claire (Paul) Sylvia will be very sadly missed and dearly loved by her husband and family, her adored grandchildren, Elijah, Jacob, Senan, Aoibhinn, Cathal, Ryan and Harry, sister in law Elaine, nephew Adam and his wife Ellie, grandniece Millie, all her relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Resting at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan, (H12 C821) on Tuesday evening from 5 until 7pm. and again on Wednesday from 12.30 until removal at 1.30pm to St. Fethlimidh’s Church of Ireland Cathedral, Kilmore for Funeral service at 2pm. Following the Service the cortege will travel to Drumcor graveyard for committal prayers and burial.

Predeceased by her husband Con.
Much loved mother of Suzanne, Mark and Lynn.
Deeply regretted by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road (A82YV58) on Tuesday evening from 5 o'clock until 6 o'clock.
A celebration of Ann's life will take place in Mathews Funeral Home at 11 o'clock on Wednesday morning with burial afterwards to Cruagh Cemetery, Cruagh Road, Rathfarnham.
