Ulster beat Warriors in Kingspan Breffni face off

FT: Ulster 19-14 Glasgow.

After a scrappy second-half Ulster held on to run out victors against Glasgow Warriors with a full time scoreline of 19-14.

First-half tries from man-of-the-match Dave Ewers, James Hume and Tom Stewart were enough to see the Ulstermen over the line for this historic pre-season friendly.

When the final whistle blew many left with the belief that the real winner from today's was the province as a whole after rugby and the GAA joined forces too host this match.

The warm-up fixture is the first Ulster Rugby game hosted at an Ulster GAA ground and follows on from the Game For Anto fundraiser fixture that Ulster GAA hosted at Kingspan Stadium back in 2014, which raised awareness of Motor Neurone Disease, supporting former Antrim GAA Senior football captain Anto Finnegan's deterMND Trust.
