Aideen Bailey

Clonkeefy, Castlerahan, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan / Oldcastle, Meath

Aideen Bailey (née Bates) Clonkeefy, Castlerahan, Co Cavan, 1st November, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Daniel and much loved mother of Alex, cherished daughter of Jarlath and Martie Bates, and sister of Shane and Joseph. Sadly missed by her husband Daniel, son Alex, her parents and brothers, her brother-in-law Stephen, sister-in-law Andrea, father-in-law John, mother-in-law June, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Private funeral service for family and close friends will take place in Lakelands Funeral Home and Crematorium on Friday, 3rd November 2023, at 12 pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Palliative Care Cavan General Hospital. House strictly private at all times, please.

Jordan Denning

Hampton Court, Cavan Town, Cavan / Stradone, Cavan

The death has occurred of Jordan Denning, Hampton Court, Cootehill Road, Cavan and formerly of Swellan Lower, Cavan and Corfad, Stradone. Tuesday October 31st, Predeceased by his grandparents, Noel and Mona Denning, his cousin Zack Mc Elhinney and Wayne Martin. Jordan will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his mother Michelle, father Patrick, fiancé Angelika, brothers Austin and Alfie, sister Aishling, grandparents, Stevie and Susanne, uncles, aunts, his niece Heiley and nephew Jacob, and all his extended family and many friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan (H12RF78) on Friday, November 3, from 5.30-7.30pm. Removal on Saturday morning to the Cathedral of Ss Patrick & Felim, Cavan arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

Margaret Flanagan

(née Matthews)

Skearke, Moynalty, Meath / Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Margaret Flanagan (née Matthews), Skearke, Moynalty, Kells, Co. Meath and formerly Longfield, Virginia, Co. Cavan, peacefully surrounded by her loving family and the wonderful caring staff at Kilmainhamwood Nursing Home.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband Tommie, daughter, Helen, sisters Brigid and Sis and is survived by her daughter Maureen, sons Thomas and Michael and is sadly missed by son-in-law Hugh, daughter-in-law Kathleen and Michael’s partner Amanda, grandchildren Thomas, Shane, Christine, Edward, Emily, Laura, Sean and Angus, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her son Michael's home (A82 CX99 on Friday, 3rd November, from 3pm-9pm.

House Private At All Other Times Please.

Removal on Saturday 4th to St Mary’s Church, Newcastle, Moynalty (A82 NX53) for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by Burial in Moynalty Cemetery.

Peacefully, at Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home, Monaghan. Predeceased by his son James, his parents James and Margaret and his sister Eileen. Sadly missed by his loving wife Joan, daughter Deirdre, son Patrick, son in law Alex, daughter in law Laura, grandchildren Sophie and Ella, sisters Margaret, Ann and Breige, brother Seamus, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Thomas Fox, Cormoy, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at his residence, Wednesday 1st November 2023. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Anne, daughter Amanda, son Darren, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Celine, his beloved grandchildren Megan, Dylan, Ryan, Cormac, Eimear and Tomás, brothers Jim and Timothy, sisters Rose, Caroline and Geraldine, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross (A81 C653) on Thursday from 3pm to 8pm and Friday afternoon from 3pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning from his residence to St. Lastra’s Church, Donaghmoyne arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
