The sudden death has occurred of John Doherty, Oldcastle Road, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan. Predeceased by his parents Eddie and “Dilla” Doherty. Deeply regretted and sorely missed by his loving wife Emer and daughter Aoife (Sean), sons Conor (Mathilde) and Rory (Jade), his cherished granddaughter Leah, brother Eamonn, sister Rose, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Roisín O' Reilly, nee O'Neill, Golf Links Rd, Cavan and formerly Ballyhaise, Co.Cavan, November 7th 2023, peacefully in the loving care of her family and the staff at Cavan General Hospital, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Mattie and devoted mother of Mary, Michael, Joe, Therese and Noel. Roisín will be very sadly missed by her loving family, son in law Michael, daughters in law Stella, Ger and Kathy, her adored grandchildren Hazel, Terry, Tara, Conor, Aoife, Michael and Roisín and great-grandsons George and Jack, brothers Paddy (Dublin) and Michael (Ballyhaise), sisters Eileen Mc Govern (Ballinagh), Mary Rafter (Newtownforbes), Sr. Therese (Peggy), Birmingham, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and all her relations and many friends.

Roisín will repose at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd., Cavan (H12 C821) on Thursday evening from 5pm until removal at 7.30pm to the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 Noon followed by burial in the family plot in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry.

The death has occurred of Kay McDonnell née Rushe, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Wednesday 8th November 2023 peacefully in her 103rd year.

Predeceased by her beloved husband John.

Deeply regretted and lovingly missed by her children Sean-0g, Mary, Anne, and Peter, all her relatives and friends.

Reposing at Corrigans Funeral Home, Castleblayney, from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday.

Requiem mass on Friday at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney with burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery.
