Indian Spice turns up the heat

Spice up your social life this Christmas with a visit to Cavan Town’s newest Indian restaurant, which promises to tantalise your taste buds.

Indian Spice, located opposite Dunnes Stores on Main Street Cavan, opened last month and is already enjoying huge success. It’s operating from the premises formerly occupied by Barducci’s.

Speaking to The Anglo-Celt, restaurant owner Kowser Islam explained: “It has gone very well. We have been open for one month and we are doing typical Indian food. It has been fantastic, because our food is perfect.”

The delicious range of dishes are created by an expert chef with a passion for Indian food.

“Our chef has 17 years’ experience in cooking.”

Kowser’s own love of Indian food was inspired by his mother who thought him how to cook from a young age. Since then, he dreamed of opening his own restaurant to share his love of food and flavoursome dishes with others.

The Indian native, who has been living in Cavan the past two years, wants his food to be accessible to everybody, and offers various deals and discounts to ensure this is the case.

A 15% discount is in place for important holidays to allow customers enjoy these special times with family and friends at a reduced cost.

This deal is currently available online and for takeaway orders to celebrate the restaurant’s opening. It will run once again during the Christmas holidays.

A delicious early bird menu is available during lunch hours on Sundays with a three-course meal costing just €15.95.

Takeaway and delivery services are also available every day.

Kowser has now turned his attention to the festive period with Christmas party bookings going strong.

“We have plenty of space with between 80 and 100 seats available,” said the restaurant owner.

Indian Spice is open between 5pm and 10pm, Monday to Saturday and 12:30pm to 10pm on Sundays.

“We would like to welcome everyone to come in and try our food,” urges Kowser, promising that customers won’t be disappointed.
