Founded in 2009, Hybrid Energy Group is a guaranteed Irish, Cavan based company. It was established by husband and wife team, Carmel and Micheal Smith, and now boasts a staff of 10.
Hybrid Energy Group is bringing renewable energies to homes across Cavan including the installation of smart technologies such as solar PV panels, heat pumps, mechanical and ventilation systems, wood-pellet stoves and LED lighting.
“We want to educate and inform our community about the incredible benefits associated with switching to renewable energy solutions,” explains Carmel.
“We are a certified guaranteed Irish business; FDI registered and approved contractor; and carry ISO 9001 certified quality management systems. And, we have saved over 46,000kw of energy - enough to power 10 Irish homes for one year.”
The company provides a 48-hour guaranteed service alongside staff that are dedicated to what they do. The focus is on installing solutions that help change the lives of its customers with lower energy bills, increased comfort and warmth. They also contribute to a more sustainable planet for the next generation.
“We only install solutions our customers need and will assist them with all grant funding,” Carmel continued.

The company works closely with industry experts to increase sustainability with more renewable energy projects and through additional grant funding.

Since 2009, Hybrid Energy Group has completed over 9,000 projects, with huge growth over the past two years. The target is to increase turnover by 30% annually.
