Frazer Dental has implemented a booking system that strives to afford customers same-day appointments.
“If they ring for an appointment between 8-9am, we will see them that day,” assured Rachael.
“We also put an online booking system on our website and this is really working for people because they are able to make an appointment for when it suits them,” she highlighted some of the innovations.
The local dentist also provides an out of hours care advice service to Cavan General Hospital.
Rachael feels that type of additional service provision is part of the business’s effort to adapt to people’s needs.
“We are also offering muscle relaxants for jaw pain. And, we offer a tongue-tie baby service. There was nobody in Cavan, Louth, Meath or Monaghan providing the service – mothers had to go to Dublin or Tullamore to get it treated. So now we have a specialist that comes three days a week to provide the service locally. This has really helped the breastfeeding rates in the community and that is a really positive thing,” said the dentist.
In most cases, the surgery tries to see newborn babies with tongue ties as soon as they are discharged from hospital.
Rachael even has her own ‘bot’ on the site to answer questions and organise calls back to patients.
Late opening, Saturday appointments and emergency out of hours are also features of the constantly evolving service delivered by a team of qualified and experienced professionals in their field.
