Grilly, Belturbet, Cavan

The death has occurred of Sean Donohoe, Grilly, Belturbet, Co. Cavan. Peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness, 10th December 2023. Predeceased by his parents Eddie and Molly, brother Kevin and sister Shelia. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, brother Pat (Vancouver Island) and Eamon, sister Bernadette, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

Sean will be reposing at his brother Eamon’s residence (H14 RK19) tomorrow evening (Monday) from 6pm until 8pm. Removal on Tuesday afternoon at 12.30pm to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Drumalee, for 1pm Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Michael Loughlin

Ardan, Creighan, Cavan Town, Cavan

Michael Loughlin, Creighan, Cavan. Saturday, December, 9th peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Eileen née McGovern, son in law Nobbie McMahon, brother John (Jackie), sisters Chrisie, Laurie and Nancy.

Sadly missed by his loving daughter, Michelle, grandchildren Chaela and Shauna, sister Margaret, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral home, Dublin road Cavan on Monday evening from 5.00pm until 7.00pm.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 2.00pm in St Matthew's Church Drumavaddy, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Terence O'Reilly (Terry, Fruit & Veg Man), Westborough House, Virginia Road and Woodview, Bailieborough, Co Cavan, died on the 10th December 2023, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Kathleen, brothers Tom and Brendan (infancy). Sadly missed by his loving daughters Laura (Nicholas) and Emma, grandson Nicholas, brothers Padraig (Tom), Fergus (Breege), Sean (Catherine), uncle Tom, aunts Anna and Mai. Rachel and Mark. Nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Shercock Road, Bailieborough, on Monday, 11th December, from 4pm - 8pm. Removal on Tuesday, via Woodview, to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Anne's Cemetery. Kathleen died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her parents Jack and Kathleen and her brother PJ. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Luke, sons Richie (Joan) and Paul (Davina) and her sister Pauline (Rathfarnam). Sadly missed by her beloved grandchildren, brother in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, all the extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Matthew’s funeral home, Virginia (A82YV58) on Monday evening from 5-8pm. Funeral mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in St. Joseph’s Church, Ballyjamesduff with burial afterward in St. Joseph’s Cemetery on the Oldcastle Road.

Peacefully, on Sunday 10th December 2023, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Adam and son Ivan.

Gladys will be dearly missed by her beloved family; daughters Claudine (Andrew Wylie) and Elaine, sons Richard (Bernie) and Linton (Eileen), daughter-in-law Elizabeth, also her treasured grandchildren; Kyle, Lianna, Drew, Brent, Ryan, Jessica, Adam, Lauren, Ethan, Daniel, Alanna and Taylor, great-grandchildren; Tilly, Oscar, Hugh, Eve, Zoe, Oisin and Ava, brother-in-law Willie Armstrong, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle.

Callers welcome on Monday and Tuesday from 2pm until 9pm.

Funeral service in Garmany's Grove Presbyterian Church, on Wednesday, 13th December, at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

The death has occurred of Andrew (White Andy) Fay, Cavanreagh, Scotshouse, Co. Monaghan. Andy passed away peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, Sunday, 10th December 2023. Predeceased by his beloved wife Susan. Andy will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughters Siobhan (Seamus), Patricia (Stephen), Diane, and Collette (Michael) and his son Donal, beloved grandchildren Jack, Danny, Sean, Sarah, Tara and Adam, extended family and many friends and by all who knew and loved Andy.

Robert Gerard (Gerry) (Gerry German) Mc Granaghan

Peacefully, at Esker Lodge Nursing Home, Co. Cavan, 10th December 2023. R.I.P. (late of Monaghan Town and formerly of The Raws, Castlefin). Much loved father of Liz Mc Elchar), Seamus, Sinead, Matthew, Kate (Mukungu) and Liz (Sweeney), loving brother of Matt, Mick and the late Seamus, Pat, John, Annie and Lizzie.

Reposing at the home of his son and daughter in law, Matt and Lisa Mc Granaghan, 14, Glenpatrick Park, Ballybofey F93 RH63 from 8 p.m. this evening, Sunday 10th December. Funeral from there on Tuesday, 12th December, at 11 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in St. Mary's Church, Castlefin. Interment afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Castlefin. The Mass can be viewed via the parish webcam. Anyone wishing to leave a message of sympathy may do so on the condolence section below.
