Peacefully at Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home, Monaghan. Predeceased by his parents John and Úna, his baby sister Pamela and his brother Seán (Arklow). Sadly missed by his daughter Tara (Canada) and his son Jason, son in law Andrew, grandchildren Darren, Kathleen, Matthew and Jorja, sister Anne (Capetown), brother Ciarán (Monaghan), sisters in law Margaret and Dette, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the premises of McElvaney Funeral Directors, Church Square, Monaghan (eircode H18K377) on Sunday (17/12/2023) from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Removal on Monday (18/12/2023) at 10.30 a.m., arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery, Latlurcan.

Philip Duffy

Corconnolly, Scotshouse, Monaghan, H23 Y303

The death occurred of Philip Duffy, Corconnolly, Scotshouse, Clones, Co. Monaghan, (H23 Y303),Thursday 14th December 2023, peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of Oakview Nursing Home, Belturbet, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Mary and his brothers John and PJ.

Beloved husband of Maureen (formerly Brady, Killeevan) and adored father of Sheena (John Darcy), Grainne, Nicola (Philip Morrison) and Brian (Avril). Philip will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, son and their partners, much loved grandchildren, Kian, Shane, Aaron, Caoimhe, Niamh, Elle, Caelan and Rhea, sister Eileen (Moran, Sligo) and brother Eamon (Ture), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, many friends and by all who knew and loved Philip.

May Philip's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Philip will be resting at the family home, Corconnolly, Scotshouse, Clones, Co. Monaghan (H23 Y303) on Saturday 16th from 4pm to 8pm. Family time at all other times and on Sunday morning, please.

Philip's funeral cortège will leave the family home on Sunday morning at 10am to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Scotshouse, for 10.30am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Katie (Catherine) McCoy

(née Corrigan)

Lisgall, Carrickmacross, Monaghan / Castlemartyr, Cork

The death has occurred of Katie (Catherine) McCoy, (née Corrigan), Lisgall, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan and formerly Dunaree, Laragh, Castleblayney, late of London and Castlemartyr, Co. Cork, peacefully in her 98th year surrounded by her loving family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda Wednesday 13th December 2023. Predeceased by her husband Eamonn, parents, brothers Tommy and Nick Corrigan, sister Mary Kellett, niece Marie McEneaney and nephew Dickie Kellett. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her son Michael, daughter Tereasa, grandchildren Conor, Amy and Erin, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace

Reposing at the Fortview Community Room, Lisdoonan (A81 VC42) on Friday from 12noon. Removal on Saturday morning from the Fortview Community Room, to St. Mary’s Church, Lisdoonan (A81 DP44) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in the new cemetery, Lisdoonan.
