Tonight, rain will continue in the south and east but dry conditions and clear spells will develop in the north and west. Cold with lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees with winds easing light to moderate northwesterly.

Tomorrow will be cloudy over much of Leinster, Munster and east Ulster with outbreaks of rain, drizzle and some patchy mist, slowly becoming confined to the east and southeast in the evening. There is a small chance of sleet on mountains in the south and east. It will be a dry day across the rest of the country with sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in light to moderate northerly winds.
