Bright spells and isolated showers in Cavan this weekend

Bright spells with some isolated showers is on the cards weather wise for Co Cavan this weekend.

Today Saturday, will be mostly dry, with some bright spells developing. There will be a few isolated showers around with highest temperatures of 9 or 10 degrees in mostly moderate westerly winds.

It will continue mild for the rest of the bank holiday weekend with bright spells and a lot of cloud. While there will be some mostly light rain and drizzle at times, good long dry spells will emerge with high pressure continuing its influence. It will be breezy at times.

Sunday will see cloud for a time with rain and drizzle that will become mostly confined to Ulster in the afternoon, where it'll be persistent in parts. Temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty southwest winds.
