A hit play worth paying for

Carnaross Drama will have you rolling in the aisles and laughing till you drop at this year’s production of a sidesplitting comedy.

‘Low Pay? Don’t Pay!’ by Dario Fo promises to be their best and funniest productions ever!

‘Low Pay? Don’t Pay!’ has a wonderful cast including Tanya Farrelly, Christy Gibney, Naoise Reilly, John McKenna and Liam McNiffe.

This timely production takes Fo’s original, and transposes it to Ireland of the 1970s. The play starts when the women realise the supermarket prices are going beyond their capacity to keep up, so they take what they want and pay what they feel is right. Naturally, chaos ensues!

The author, the late Dario Fo, who was awarded a Nobel Prize in 1997 for his writing, was at one time the most performed living playwright in the world!

As always with Carnaross productions tickets should be booked early on 087 7703 818. Production nights at Carnaross Community Centre are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 16, 17, 18 and February 23, 24 and 25 nightly at 8pm.

Next door Carnaross Inn are offering pre-show early bird specials, so why not make a night of it!
