Heart attack- Cavan band take iTunes No1 spot

They've only gone and done it! The Savage Hearts have claimed top two spots on the Irish iTunes Charts with the release of their new singles 'Gang War' and 'Speed Kills'.

Upon release, the two tracks pipped the like of Journey's 2024 remastered version of 'Don't Stop Believin'', Kings of Leon's new single 'Mustang' and even Metallica's 'Master Of Puppets'.

Signed to Galway-based Blowtorch Records, The Savage Hearts, formed by ex Strypes drummer Evan Walsh, purvey a garage rock sound with that 60s authentic organ psych sound.

The new single has Gang War on the A side with Speed Kills on the reverse.

Gang War was written by Evan and his pal Ste Kelly of the band The Raglans who some may recall from playing the Cafe Sessions in the old Chapter 1.
