Marie Boylan

Marie Boylan (nèe Little), Redhills Village, Redhills, Co. Cavan, Tuesday 5th March, suddenly, at her residence. Pre-deceased by her husband, Pat, baby son Martin, her parents Johnny and Margaret, brothers Michael, Anthony, and Phelim, and sister Margaret. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughter Anna-Marie, brothers James, Paddy, Nicholas, and Eddie, sister Eileen, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Remains reposing in Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Rd., Cavan on Thursday evening from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Service on Friday morning at 11am in Crematorium with cremation immediately afterwards.

Kathleen Comiskey

(née Sexton)

"Woodview", Drumalee, Cavan Town, Cavan / Bailieborough, Cavan

Kathleen Comiskey (nee Sexton), "Woodview" Drumalee, Cavan and formerly Grousehall, Bailieborough, Co.Cavan. Tuesday, March 5th 2024, peacefully. Beloved wife of Brian and deeply loved mother of her son Brían. Kathleen will be very sadly missed by her husband and son, daughter in law Susan, her adored grandchildren Seán, Joel and Dúalta, sisters Bea and Bernadette, brothers in law, sister in law,nephews, nieces, all her relatives and many friends.

Reposing at her home in Drumalee tomorrow, Thursday, from 3pm until 8pm, H12 EP48 Removal from her home on Friday morning at 11.30am to the Cathedral of Ss Patrick and Felim, Cavan arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Following Mass the cortege will travel to Cullies Cemetery for committal prayers and burial.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his devoted wife Breege, son Declan (Luton), daughter-in-law Tricia, daughter Fiona (Wexford), son-in-law Larry, grandchildren Eoin, Laurence and Ella, brothers Sean (Meath), Kieran (Australia) and sister Rita (UK), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends

Padraig will repose at The Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon (N41 KP62) on Thursday from 4pm until 6pm.

Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon on Friday morning arriving for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 o’clock, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carrick-on-Shannon.

Desmond O’Reilly Tawlaght, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, 6th March 2024. Peacefully in the loving care of staff at Breffni Care Centre, Ballyconnell. Predeceased by parents Farrell and Kathleen, sisters Bernadette, May and Anna and brother William. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by sisters Dympna and Carmel, nieces, nephews neighbours, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Remains will be reposing at Lawlors Funeral Home (eircode H14 R583) on Thursday evening, 7th March, from 6.00pm until prayers at 7.00pm. Remains will arrive at St Mary’s Church, Staghall for funeral mass at 10am on Friday morning with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Shenda Thompson

(née Gorman)

Finglas, Dublin / Cootehill, Cavan

On 6th March 2024. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, surrounded by her loving family. Shenda, beloved wife of Marty, cherished daughter of Derek and Margaret, much loved sister of Josh. She will be sadly missed by her family, grandmother Brigid, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbours, her many friends and her adored dogs Lulu Magoo and Alfie Mooness.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Church Street, Finglas on Friday (8th March) from 4pm until 7pm. Funeral on Saturday to St. Canice’s Church, Finglas Village, arriving for 11.30am Requiem Mass followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.

Clancy (née Cahill), Maureen (Mary), Sutton, Dublin (formerly of Monaghan and Limerick), 4th March 2024, peacefully in the dedicated care of St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved and devoted wife to Bob. Maureen will be very deeply missed by her husband, her adoring daughters Genevieve, Lucinda and Diane, her cherished grandchildren Holly, Brian, Kevin, Daniel and Matthew, sister Concepta, brothers Michael and Martin, sons-in-law Brian and Kevin, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Remembering also her deceased brother, John, and sister, Patricia.

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Friday, 8th March, from 3pm to 5pm. Removal to St. Fintan’s Church, Sutton on Saturday morning for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery. Family flowers only please. The death has occurred of Peg (Margaret) Mc Phillips ,nee Sullivan, Wedensday 6th March 2024. Peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family .Predeceased by her parents John and Susan, her loving husband Tom, grandchildren Cillian, Sean and Dallan, brothers Benny, Jim and Pat, sisters Molly and Rosie. Peg will be sadly missed and loved by her sons Tony (Mairead),Johm (Niamh), daughters Martina (Michael), Maria (Michael), Teresa, Patricia (Alen), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Tom and Kevin, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.
