Matthew McDonald

Raheny, Dublin / Killester, Dublin / Belturbet, Cavan

McDonald, Matthew, (Raheny, Dublin formerly Killester, Dublin and Belturbet, Co Cavan, Ex C.I.E) passed 3rd March 2024, peacefully at home. Predeceased by his loving wife Evelyn, very sadly missed by his children Anita, Hilary, Clare, Niamh, David and Paula, sons-in-law Tony and Niall, Daughter-in-law Gwen, his grandchildren Jane, Matthew, Kate, Evie, Rachel, Lisa, Thomas, and Xavier, great grandchildren Lucas and Jessica, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and wide circle of friends.

Mathew will be reposing in Jennings Funeral Home, Springdale Road, Raheny, on Friday, 8th March, from 3.00-5.00pm. Funeral Mass Saturday at 10am in St John the Evangelist Church, Kilbarrack, followed by burial in St Fintan's Cemetery.

Siobhan Costello

Tirnahinch, Roslea Rd., Clones, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Siobhan Costello, Tirnahinch, Roslea Rd, Clones, Co. Monaghan, and formerly Birmingham, England, Wednesday 6th March 2024. Peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of Cavan Hospital,after a short illness, surrounded by her daughter Sarah and Siobhan's family. Predeceased by her mother Philomena and her father Tony.

Cherished and devoted mother of Sarah and much loved sister of Sharon, Anthony and Mark. Siobhan will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her, daughter, sister, brothers, sisters-in-law Caroline and Monica, brother-in-law Donal, nieces Noeleen, Amy, Niamh, Megan and Tara, nephews, Anthony, Niall,and Fintan, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, friends and by all who knew and loved Siobhan.

Siobhan will repose at the Martin's Family Room, Newbliss, H18C962 this Friday evening, 8th March, from 5pm to 8pm with removal on Saturday morning, 9th March, at 10.20am to the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver's Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mary McCabe (née Daly), Corkishbane, Corduff, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at home, Thursday 7th March 2024. Predeceased by her parents Luke and Katie Daly. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband Charles, her children Cathal, Catriona and Gerard, daughter-in-law Aisling, son-in-law Stephen, adored grandchildren Cillian, Ronan, Aoife, Rachel, Ruby, brother Michael, brother-in-law Pat, sisters-in-law Kathleen and Teresa, niece Majella, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at her residence, Corkishbane, A81 R611 on Friday afternoon from 5pm to 8pm. Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 C653 on Saturday evening from 5pm to 8pm. Removal from her residence on Sunday to arrive at St Michael’s Church, Corduff A81 X312 for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining New Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Francie McGivney. 13, Castleblayney Road, Carrickmacross. 7th March 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick & Anne, his sister Kitty and his brothers Mickey & Pat.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family, his wife Nancy, his children Gerard (Helen), Linda (Colm Faul), Valerie (Ambrose Finn) & Nigel (Louise), his much-loved grandchildren Gavin, Grace, Gemma, Jason, Adam, Leah, Evan, Darren, Ross, Ryan, Abbie, Rebecca & Lewis and his five great-grandchildren Jayden, Jay, Skylar, Brodie & Josh, his extended family, friends & neighbours.

Monaghan) Peacefully surrounded by her family and in the kind and wonderful care of the Nurses and Staff in Marymount Care Centre, Westmanstown. Beloved wife of Eddie and cherished mother to Tony, Joanne, Teresa and Patricia, sons-in-law Matt and Aumy, granddaughters Lauren, Alanagh and Aila, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Kathleen will be reposing in Marymount Care Centre, Westmanstown on Friday afternoon, 8th March, from 6pm to 8pm.

Removal on Saturday morning, 9th March, to The Church of St Philomena, Palmerstown arriving for 10am Funeral Mass followed with a Burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.
