Dry start to give way to rain

Today will have a dry but cloudy start, according to Met Éireann. Southerly winds will freshen a little later this morning too as rain pushes in from the west and spreading throughout this afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees this afternoon with fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds.

Tonight will bring cloudy with widespread rain. Blustery south-westerly winds will change westerly later in the night as the rain clears away overnight. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees.

Tomorrow will bring a mix of cloudy periods and some sunny spells and just the slight chance of an isolated shower. Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees in light northerly breezes.
