Crover House Hotel was the recipient of the Country House Venue of the Year award and the Best Wedding Venue in Ulster accolade went to the Hotel Kilmore.

“I've put so much into my work and looking after my brides on their special day. I consider it such a privilege they choose me as their bridal makeup artist. It’s wonderful to have my work appreciated and recognised on a national level.”

Meanwhile, Amsha Bridal is run by Michelle Cullivan and is a must-see boutique that stocks beautiful gowns from top designers in sizes 8-30.

The boutique works by appointment only, so as a bride, bridesmaid, flower girl or Holy Communion girl , Michelle’s undivided attention will be to the fore. “I am stunned and still in shock about winning,” smiled Michelle while speaking to the Anglo Celt.

“These awards are one of the biggest nights of the year for the industry. I got nominated for the award and it's my third award to date. I am absolutely delighted and thank you so much to everyone for the support.”

Management at the Hotel Kilmore, which clinched the Ulster hotel venue of the year award, said the achievement is “testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication of our team at this fabulous wedding venue”.

“The Mealiff family wish to dedicate this award to their beloved founder Ross Mealiff who worked tirelessly to create this truly stunning wedding venue and we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our amazing team without whom this would not be possible.”

And, Crover House Hotel, which boasts spectacular views across Lough Sheelin provides a very romantic setting for the special day! Management added; "This recognition is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and investment that we have poured into making each and every wedding at Crover House truly exceptional. We are overjoyed that our efforts have been acknowledged by industry professionals, and we owe it all to the wonderful couples like yourselves who have chosen to celebrate their special day with us."
