Formerly Aughawelia, Carrigan.

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 31st March 2024, unexpectedly at home.

Pre-deceased by his parents Peter and Mary Kate, brother Tommie, sister Bridget, nephew Brian. Sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend Anne, brothers Liam, John (Miriam Westmeath), Pat (Teresa), sisters Mary (Tom Keane Kerry), Marcella (Donal Shanaghy), Ann (Paddy McCourt Roscommon), Frances (Michael Redmond Dublin), Kathleen (Danien Creegan), sisters in law Kathleen Moorehouse (Co. Wexford), Agnes Smith (Aughawelia), nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, tomorrow, Wednesday, from 5.30pm until 7.30pm.

Removal on Thursday to arrive at St Mary's Church, Bruskey for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon, interment afterwards in Mullaghboy Cemetery.

House private to family and close friends.

April 2nd 2024 peacefully at the Graan Nursing Home, Enniskillen.

Predeceased by his parents Thomas & Mary Ellen & brother Malachy.

Deeply regretted by his loving brothers Gerry, Brendan, Oliver & Anthony, sisters Mary & Teresa, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

Reposing at Lawlor's Funeral Home, Erne Hill, Belturbet, Co. Cavan(H14 R583) on Thursday evening from 7 o'clock until 9 o'clock.

Remains arriving at St Mary's Church, Teemore for funeral mass on Friday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Kathleen Kavanagh (née Nally)

Ballymore, Granard, Longford

Formerly of Lismacaffrey Co. Westmeath.

Kathleen passed away surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the staff of Saint Joseph’s Care Centre, Longford.

Predeceased by her husband Patsy, her parents Tom and Bridget Nally, brother Paddy, sister Anne (McCauley), and brother-in-law.

Remembered with love and sadly missed by her sisters May Charles and Chris Duffy, brother-in-law Peter and Pat, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, and extended family and friends.

Kathleen will repose at Smith’s Funeral Home Barrack St. Granard on Thursday 4th April from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral mass at 12 noon on Friday the 5th in St. Mary's Church, Granard. Burial afterwards in Granardkille Cemetery.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of Padre Pio Ward of Saint Joseph’s Care Centre, Longford for the excellent care of Kathleen throughout her illness.

David Daly Castello

Luanda, Angola and formerly Lough Egish, Castleblayney, Monaghan / Rathfarnham, Dublin

Died Saturday 30th March 2024, unexpectedly at his home in Luanda.

Beloved son of Mary Daly and Benjamin Castello and brother of Dara.

David will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family - his parents Mary and Castello, brother Dara (Cecilia), niece Lucia, nephew Finn, uncles John, Jacob and Finbarr Daly, and a wide circle of family and friends.

David’s funeral will take place in Luanda on Saturday, 6th April.

A mass of remembrance will take place at Lough Egish, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan at a future date.
