Dry day to start with bright spells

Generally a lot of dry and mild weather in store, apart from patches of light rain or drizzle at times. That's the latest prognosis from Met Éireann.
Mainly dry to start with bright spells. Cloud will increase from the northwest this morning with outbreaks of light rain and drizzle soon following. Patchy rain and drizzle will spread southwards through the morning and afternoon. Some sunny intervals will develop between spells of light rain later in the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees, coolest in the northeast with light to moderate west to northwest breezes.
Generally dry and cloudy tonight, although a few patches of light rain or drizzle will linger. Lowest temperatures of -1 to 6 degrees, coldest in the north where a touch of grass frost possible, with winds easing light and variable.
A cloudy and generally dry day tomorrow away from Ulster where patches of light rain will linger through the day. Outbreaks of light and patchy rain and drizzle will develop in the northwest spreading southeastwards in the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 9 to 13 or 14 degrees in a light to moderate west to northwest wind, increasing fresh at times.
Staying largely cloudy overnight on Thursday with further patches of light rain or drizzle feeding in from the north. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in a light to moderate west to northwest wind.
Friday will start off mostly cloudy with patches of light rain or drizzle but sunny spells will improve later in the day. Highest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees with light to moderate northwest winds.
Dry with long clear spells and light winds overnight on Friday. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 6 degrees.
Most areas will be dry on Saturday with some sunshine at times. Becoming cloudier in the west through the day. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees with light southerly or variable winds.
Dry Saturday night with clear spells and light winds. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 7 degrees.
Sunday is looking mostly dry with sunshine at times. Highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees with light easterly winds.
