Investigation after car fire in CMX

Incident happened last Friday, April 19.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances behind car fire outside a house in Carrickmacross last week.

Gardai and fire services attended the incident near Carrickmacross on Friday, April 19.

The fire was extinguished, and the area made safe.

A technical examination has also carried out and investigations are ongoing.

Local Gardai say they are carrying out enquiries, and that "investigations are ongoing".
