Helen Anderson

(née Byrne)

Leitrim, Mullagh, Cavan / Meath

and formerly Boltown, Kilskyre, Co. Meath.

​​​​​Peacefully, surrounded by her loving and heartbroken family in the exceptional care of the nurses and staff of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her beloved husband Jimmy, cherished daughters, Elaine and Sandra, her adored grandchildren, Lianne, Conor, Darragh and Aaron, loving brother Tom, sons in law, Ollie and Liam, sisters-in-law Camilla and Rose and brother in law Vincie. Nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing tomorrow evening, Thursday, at ​​​​'The Village Chapel of Rest', Mullagh A82DE28 from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Friday morning to arrive at St. Kilian's Church, Mullagh for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Bridie McEnroe Kilnacor, Crosskeys, Co. Cavan and formerly Cloncovid, Kilcogy, Co. Cavan. Wednesday, 24th April 2024, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of College View Nursing Home.

Beloved wife of James (Jim) McEnroe and wonderful mother to Bernadine, Catherine, Barry (Eimear) Paschal, Majella, Eamonn and Clare (Padraig). Sadly missed by her brother Eddie (Cloncovid, Kilcogy) and grandchildren James (Ffion), Daniel, Kevin, Liam, Maeve, Ailbhe, Niamh, Sarah and Aine, and great grandchild Connie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by her son in law Luke, daughter in law Cathy, her parents, sisters and brother.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan (H12 RF78) on Thursday from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral to arrive at St. Matthew's Church, Crosskeys (H12 FX68) on Friday, the 26th April 2024, for funeral mass at 12:00 noon interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Sr Anna Maria Byrne

Ballybay, Monaghan / Tinahely, Wicklow / Templeogue, Dublin

The death has occurred of Sr. Anna Marie Byrne, in her 95th year, Sacred Heart Convent, Ballybay, and formerly Seskin, Tinahely, Co. Wicklow, also served the community in Ballybay, Templeogue, Tamworth and Coventry. On Tuesday April 23rd, peacefully in the tender loving care of the nurses and staff of St, Anne’s Nursing Home, Ballybay, Co Monaghan. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Minnie, her sisters and brothers, Kevin, Maura, Eileen, Lar, Johnny, Sheila, Peg, Joe, Jane, Nick, Ger and her brothers and sisters in law. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews, extended family, and her religious community, Daughters of our Lady of the Sacred Heart Convent and her many friends.

‘May Sr, Anna Marie’s Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace’

Sr. Anna Marie will repose in the Convent Chapel, Ballybay on Friday afternoon from 3pm until removal at 6:40pm to arrive St Patrick’s Church, Ballybay for reception prayers at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Alo Duffy

Garrybawn, Latton, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occured of Alo Duffy, Garybawn, Latton, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Alo passed away peacefully surrounded by his devoted family. Predeceased by his wife Mona. Sadly missed by his children Una OReilly, Ursula, Jim (Jenny) Brian & Fergus (Tracey), his grandchildren Sarah, Mark, Nasim, Yusef, Sami, Keelan, Corey, Mona Mae, Emma Kate and Aoife, his great grandchildren , his nephews, nieces, sisters and brother in law, other family members, neighbours and friends.

Alo will reposing at Mullens Funeral Home from 3pm to 8pm on Thursday 25th. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, Latton Friday 26th at 11am. Internment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Susan Murnaghan

(née O’Brien)

The death has occurred of Susan Murnaghan (née O'Brien) Garrybawn, Latton, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan peacefully in her 80th year at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her daughter Angela & her husband John.

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace

Susan will be sadly missed by her daughters & son. Teresa (Tommy), Siobhan (Chris), Peter (Yvonne), Sarah (Kevin), & Joanne (Stephen). Her grandchildren Brendan, Laura, Maresa, Mickey, Meadow, Alice, Luke, Daniel & baby John. Her brothers and sisters Seamus (Swords), Peadar (Ranelagh), Michael (Dunboyne), Kathleen (Newcastle), Mary (Clane) & the late Patsy (RIP) & Sean (RIP), her extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Susan will be reposing at her home (eircode A75 PY54) on Friday from 3pm until 9pm and on Saturday from 3pm until 9pm. House private at all other times please.

Removal on Sunday morning to arrive at Saint Mary's Church, Latton for 10am Funeral Mass, Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Ballybay Cancer Society, c/o Smyth's Funeral Directors Ballybay.
