Cavan CU to work with new Minister on Greenify

Cavan Credit Union has congratulated Deputy Neale Richmond on his appointment as Minister of State with responsibility for Credit Unions.

Cavan Credit Union is working with homeowners across the county through its Greenify loan product to help finance home energy upgrades and the team is looking forward to working with the new Minister on the initiative.

Therese Conway, CEO of Cavan Credit Union, said: “Cavan Credit Union is committed to making green home energy upgrades more accessible and affordable for members. We enjoyed a great working relationship with Minister Richmond’s predecessor Jennifer Carroll MacNeill and we look forward to working with the new Minister with that same positivity and drive.”

She emphasised how home energy upgrades can increase the value of your home, save money and be more environmentally friendly. Loans of up to €50,000 over 10 years are available to homeowners looking to greenify their homes.

Ms Conway added: “There are a number of routes you can take to improve the energy efficiency of your home, from small wins to large scale investment. Cavan Credit Union can help you to finance home energy upgrades and offers personalised support. We specialise in taking a flexible approach to make finance more accessible for projects of any size."
