Doreen Cummins, Lacken Lower, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan, Wednesday, 8th May 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care, of the staff at Cavan General Hospital. Sadly missed by her loving family, Jen, David and Paul. Grandchildren: Fáinne, Oisín, Hannah, Caoimhín and Rían, son in law Dee, daughters in law Jen and Kawing, her brother Joe and his wife Eileen, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents Louise and Jack and her beloved sister Jeannè.

Reposing her home, tomorrow, Friday, from 3.00pm. until 8.00pm. Funeral service on Saturday at 12. 00 noon, in Lakelands Funeral Home and Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan, followed by cremation.

Anne MINTO

(née Doyle)

Clonsilla, Dublin / Cavan

MINTO (née Doyle) (Clonsilla, Dublin and formerly of Drumcarbin, Co. Cavan), May 8th 2024 (peacefully) at her home and surrounded by her family. Anne, beloved wife of Gilbert (Tony), cherished mother of Sinéad, Niall, Cóilín and Áine, devoted Nana to Andrew, Daniel, Laura, Róisín, Doireann, Clíodhna and Angel, and sister of the late Vincent. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law John and Matthew, daughters-in-law Sarah and Corinne, brothers-in-law Brendan and Leo, sisters-in-law Maria, Ann and Josie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cunningham's Funeral Home, Clonsilla on Sunday evening (May 12th) from 4pm to 6pm. Removal to the Church of St. Philip The Apostle, Mountview on Monday morning (May 13th), arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by Cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. It was Anne’s wish that people attending her funeral wear some bright colours.

The death has occurred of Tom Connell, Conabury, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Thursday 9th May peacefully in Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home, Monaghan. Predeceased by his beloved wife Imelda, daughter Josephine and son-in-law Wills. Deeply regretted by his daughters, Mary, Rita and Eimear, grandchildren, sons-in-law, sister Kathleen, brother Jack, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Corrigans Funeral Home, Lower Commons, Castleblayney (A75 E361) on Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm. Removal from his home in Conabury on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 pm arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for requiem mass at 3pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to St. Mary’s Church Restoration Fund.

Martina Foley (nee Connolly), Kilnacally, Shanaway Road, Ennis, Co. Clare and formerly of Killark, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan passed away peacefully on Wednesday 8th May at Cahercalla Community care hospice, Ennis, Co. Clare, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her brother Brian.

Sadly missed by her beloved husband Gerry, sons Patrick and Sean, daughters Eileen and Theresa, daughters-in-law Kathy and Eimear, son-in-law Conor, grandchildren Evan, Jamie, Cormac Hugh and Aggie and extended families, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Daly's Mortuary Chapel, Francis St., Ennis on Friday, 10th May, from 6 o'clock to 7:30 o'clock. Arriving for Requiem mass on Saturday, 11th May, at 10am in the cathedral, Ennis followed by cremation at Shannon crematorium at 12 noon.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife Ann, their children, his siblings Margaret, Brian, Alicia and Pat, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends in Ireland and England.

Removal on Monday morning (13th May) from Deery’s Funeral Home, driving via Corrybracken to arrive at the Church of St Peter & Paul, Lower Magheracloone A81 HX68 for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
