John (Johnny) McEnroe

Dunboyne, Meath / Virginia, Cavan

McENROE John (Johnny) (Cushinstown, Dunboyne, Co. Meath and formerly of Munterconnaught, Virgina, Co. Cavan) May 13th, 2024 (peacefully) at home and surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Anna (Annie), cherished father of Sean, devoted grandfather to Darragh and Aaron and dear brother of Bridie, Mary and the late Susie, Matty, Jimmy, Pat, Francie and Peter. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Mandy, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his home on Wednesday afternoon (May 15th) from 2pm to 8pm. Removal to S.S. Peter and Paul’s Church, Dunboyne on Thursday morning (May 16th) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 am followed by burial in the New Rooske Cemetery. Bernie Harvey (nee Lee), 14 Annagh Park, Belturbet, Co. Cavan peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. 13th May 2024, predeceased by her parents Eugene and Annie and daughter Fiona and son-in-law Colin.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family husband Eddie, sons Ciaran, Paul, Patrick and Wayne, daughter Noeleen, Michelle, Clare and Emma, brothers Mickey and Tomas, sister Kathleen, grandchildren, great-grandson, son-in-law Rocco, daughter-in-law Colette, nephews, nieces relatives and friends.

Bernie will be reposing at Lawlor’s Funeral Home (H14 R583) this Tuesday evening from 5pm until evening prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Belturbet, at 12 noon on Wednesday, 15th May, with burial afterwards in Drumalee Cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed online here.

Tony Martin

Redhills, Cavan

Tony Martin, Clondalkin, Dublin and formerly Drumliffe, Redhills, Co. Cavan, 11th May, peacefully at Tallaght University Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Predeceased by his parents, Tom and Bridget, and sister Maureen (Gumley) and brothers-in-law Dessie and Martin.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Angela, sister Rosaleen Scally (Boyle), Eilish (London), her partner Ned, brothers Jimmy (Redhills), his wife Rose, and Oliver (Australia), nephews, nieces, relatives, family and many good friends.

May his gentle soul rest in Eternal peace.

Remains reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Monastery Road, Clondalkin Village (D22 K602) on Wednesday, 15th May, from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, 16th May, at 11am in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clondalkin Village (D22 VW58) followed by prayers and burial in Killoughter Cemetery, Redhills (H14 V104) arriving at approximately 3.30pm.

Mmasa Asukulu Luangiye

20 Belgium Square, Monaghan Town, Monaghan, H18W421

The death has occurred of Mmasa Asukulu Luangiye, 20 Belgium Square, Monaghan and formerly of DR Cong, Friday 10th May peacefully, surrounded by his heartbroken family in the wonderful care of the staff in Cavan General Hospital.

Mmasa will be sorely missed by his wife Sangani Echilo, his children Jack, Mmunga, Antoinette, Amosi and Pendeza. He will be always be remembered with love by his grandchildren Victoria, Glori, Sangani, Shukuru, M'massa, Jacqueline, Anjela, Merci and Akili, his neighbours and many friends

Mmasa will repose at Clerkins Funeral Home, Milltown (H18 YF22) on Friday the 17th May from 6pm until 9pm. Funeral service will be held in Clerkins Funeral Home, Milltown on Saturday 18th at 2pm with burial afterwards in Coolshannagh cemetery via his home in Belgium Square.

Brendan McCaughey

The death has occurred of Brendan McCaughey, Corraskealy, Castleshane, Co.Monaghan. Monday, 13th May, suddenly at his residence. Pre-deceased by his parents Barney and MaryAnn and his brothers and sisters Brian, Eamon, Sean, Peter, Rita & Rosemary.

Brendan will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Sheila, daughter Maeve, son Peter and son in law James, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Brendan's remains will repose at his residence from 12 Noon on Wednesday. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am at St.Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan. Burial afterwards in Latlurcan Old Cemetery.

Francis Mooney

Drumgarra, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Francis Mooney, Drumgarra, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan. Thursday, May 9th, peacefully, at the Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary. Francis deeply regretted and remembered with love by his family brothers Mick, Sean, Pat and Brendan sister Rita (Ward), sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Francis will repose at Wards Funeral Home (A75NP30), Dublin Rd, Castleblayney, tomorrow, Tuesday afternoon, from 4pm until prayers at 8pm.

Francis, funeral cortège will travel from his late residence in Drumgarra on Wednesday morning at 10:20am to arrive at Our Lady Of Knock Church, Ballintra, for funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Gerry (Peter Gearld) Mulligan, Lacklum, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan

The death has occurred of Gerry (Peter Gerald) Mulligan Lacklum, Inniskeen on Sunday 12th of May, peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda surrounded by his loving family. Gerry dear son of the late Catherine and Francis Mulligan, predeceased by his beloved wife Julia, son Peter, daughter in law Sineád, sisters Hilda, Ita and Aileen. Much loved and adored father of Fiona (Lee), Oonagh (Hamill), Francis, Seamus and Orla (Russel) . Sadly missed and remembered with love by his twelve grandchildren, great-Granchild, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews and large circle of family and friends.

Gerry will repose at his residence tomorrow, Tuesday, 14th of May, from 12 noon until 9pm Removal Wednesday, 15th, to The Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen, arriving for 11am Funeral, Burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery, Inniskeen. Gerry’s funeral mass may be viewed here.
