Sadly Missed By beloved brother Tony, nieces Anne Taylor (Nee Carroll), nephew John Canole and nieces & nephews in England.

Doris Bell, Greagh, Canningstown, Cootehill, Co Cavan died on the 16th June 2024 peacefully at Fairlawns Nursing Home, Bailieborough. Predeceased by her brother Bobby.

Sadly missed by her sister Myrtle (Drutamon), brothers Walter (England) and William (Australia), and extended family circle.

Hugh Brendan McCann, Sugarloaf, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by his loving family on June 15th 2024.

Beloved husband of Brenda, much loved father of John, Eilish, Kevin, Paul, Cormac, Deirdre and Rossa; cherished grandad of Cora, Patrick, Conaill, Seamus, Alex, Joseph, Keir, Faolán Tone, Aodhán & Eoghan; dear brother of Tone, Kevin, Mary and Josephine. Deeply missed by all his relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Lawlor’s Funeral Home in Belturbet (H14 R583) on Wednesday evening 19th June from 6-8pm. Funeral mass will be in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Belturbet at 12pm on Thursday 20th June. Burial afterwards in Staghall Cemetery.

Predeceased by his parents Philip and Maria, his sister Kathleen Miney, brother Philip and brother-in-law Nathy Cawley. The death has occurred of Patsy (Bartley) Smith, Killavalley, Ballyjamesduff, County Cavan.

Peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, after a short illness surrounded by his loving family and under the wonderful care of the staff on medical two.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Nuala, parents Paddy and Delia, sisters Susie, Eileen and Bridie and brother Bartley, deceased members of the Kiernan and Smith families. Deeply regretted by his daughters Helen and Breda, sons in law Tommy and Michael and adored grandchildren, Patrick, Shane, Aoife and Niamh, his sisters Kitty and Nancy, brothers Seamus and Mattie, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Patsy’s passion for his family, his grandchildren, his farm and baling remained strong until his final days.

Reposing at Briody’s Funeral Home, Kilnaleck (A82DX59) tomorrow evening, Monday the 17th of June, from 5pm to 8pm and resting at his residence on Sunday evening from 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday the 18th in St. Joseph’s Church, Ballyjamesduff, at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the new Cemetery on the Virginia Road.

The death has occurred of Joan Ward (nee Maher) at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on the 16th day of June.

Predeceased by her daughter Sandra and her mother in law Mary.

Much loved wife of Martin and much loved mother of Martin (Liz), Sharon (Ray), Ken (Jenny) and Darren (Joanne).

Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons and daughter, her cherished grandchildren - Martin Jnr., Emma, Ciara, Niamh, Lauren, Adam, Zara, Ava, Noah and her great-grandchildren - Tadhg, Teddy and Oscar, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Mary Callan (née Kindlon). Cashlan west, Lisdoonan, Carrickmacross, 15th June 2024. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Creevy House, Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmacross.

Predeceased by her husband Philip, her parents Patrick & Mary, her brothers John & Patsy, her sister Bridget and her sons-in-law Noel & Patrick.
