Attracta Brady, President of Comhaltas Ceoltoirí, visited Ballinacree Community Centre recently to share her love of the Irish traditional music at the Dr Galligan Comhaltas Branch session.

Gradam na hÉigse awards were presented to Dr Galligan Comhaltas members Philip Clarke, Eugene Kiernan and Betty Leddy in appreciation of scholarship, vision and service to Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Éireann and the promotion of Ireland’s cultural traditions. Philip’s contribution to composition was also acknowledged. These awards were presented by Comhaltas project Manager Bernard O’ Sullivan at a Comhaltas session in Ballinacree Community Centre.
