Una McBreen
Rathmines, Dublin / Shercock, Cavan
Una McBreen (Rathmines, Dublin 6, formerly of Taghart, Co. Cavan) (26 February 2025), peacefully in the loving care of staff at Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmacross, Co.Monaghan. Daughter of the late Bernard and Una McBreen. Deeply regretted by her brothers and sister Jim, Anne (Pat), Brian (Fiona), Victor (Deirdre), Joe (Joan), and the late Owen (Máirín), her many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, neighbours, friends and former colleagues at the Department of Agriculture.

Removal on Saturday morning (1st March) for Funeral Mass at 10am in the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar Road, Dublin 6, followed by Burial at Deansgrange Cemetery. Una's Funeral Mass may be viewed live here.
Ted Sweeney
Drumroosk, Killeshandra, Cavan, H12VF68
Ted Sweeney of Drumroosk, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan. Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Wednesday 26th February 2025 at age 72.
Loving, gentle and dutiful son, brother, husband and father. Predeceased by his parents James and Elizabeth. Dearly loved and always missed by his heartbroken wife Siobhán (O’Reilly), children Síle and Pádraig, son-in-law Tomás, siblings Marian (Noel), Seamus (Mary), Gerry (Rita), Tom (Cathy), Phelim and Carmel, Siobhán's siblings Maura, Nollaig, Míchéal, Damian, Mairead and Deirdre, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relations, and wide circle of friends, neighbours, and lovers of traditional music and culture.

Ted will repose in his family home at Drumroosk, eircode H12 VF68 this Thursday afternoon from 4.30pm and from 2.00pm on Friday. Funeral cortège will arrive at St Brigid’s Church, Killeshandra for 11 o’clock funeral mass on Saturday morning with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Seamus Kelly
Corduffkelly, Carrickmacross, Monaghan
The death has occurred of Seamus Kelly, Corduffkelly, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, Wednesday 26th February 2025, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Maryann Kelly and his brother-in-law William Dunne. Deeply regretted and sadly missed with love by his loving wife Alice and his loving family Aisling (Paul), Barry, Áine (Fergal), Mark (Tara), Therese (John), Tiernan (Tracy) and Miriam, his beloved 16 grandchildren Kaylem, Sarah, Aoíbheann, Leah, Ciara, Liam, Áron, Rian, Eoghan, Niamh, Jake, Séamus, Alannah, Réiltín, Cian and Dean, Seamus’s heartbroken sister Marion Dunne (Kildare), sister-in-law Anne Fox, nephews, nieces, extended family members, neighbours and his many friends.

The death has occurred of Alice McNamee (née Boylan), peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Castleross Nursing Home. Much loved daughter of the of the late Packie and Rose Boylan Drumboat. Predeceased by her sister Teresa (McStoker) Sadly missed and remembered with love by sisters Dette (McBride), Ann (Quigley) brothers in -law, neices, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her nephew Patrick Quigley’s residence, Drumboat from 7.30pm until 9 pm today and from 2pm until 8pm tomorrow Thursday, removal at 10.30am Friday 28th February 2025 to the Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen arriving for 11am, Requiem mass . Burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery.
