Peter DONOHOE
Cloonashade, Four Roads, Roscommon / Athleague, Roscommon / Raheny, Dublin / Cavan
PETER DONOHOE Cloonashade, Four Roads, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Athleague, Co Roscommon - Raheny, Dublin - Melbourne, Australia - Clifferna, Co. Cavan. (Suddenly), at his home on May 3rd, 2025.
Peter is predeceased by his beloved parents Charles and Rose Ann and sister Bernadette.
He will be very sadly missed and remembered with love by his family; wife Veronica (Ronnie), children Lorraine (Dublin), Declan (Dublin), Aidan (Athleague), Deirdre (Ratoath) and Fiona (Lismacaffrey), his grandchildren Sean, John, Jack, Emma, Daniel, Jamie, Laura, Olivia, Darragh, Conor, Adam and Chloe, daughters-in-law Mila and Ann Marie, sons-in-law Keith and Liam, brothers Vincent (Dublin), Phelim (Clifferna) and Seamus (Dublin), sisters Mary (Dublin) and Veronica (Cavan), sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Wednesday evening from 7 o’c until 8.30 o’c. Removal on Thursday to St Michael’s Church, Clifferna, Co Cavan (H12 YA39) (via Stradone Village and Lavey Strand) arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 1 o’c. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
The Donohoe family would like to express their sincere gratitude to everyone for their kindness and support at this time.

Drumod, Shercock, Cavan
The death has occurred of John Kindelan, Drumod, Shercock, Co.Cavan and more recently, Castleross Retirement Village, Carrickmacross, Co.Monaghan on Tuesday May 6th unexpectedly at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda.
Predeceased by his parents John and Bridget, sister Mary Meade and his brother Michael.
John, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his family, sister Phyllis Mc Donnell, brother-in-law Ollie, nieces Theresa and Collette, nephews Paul, Ollie, Gerry and Michael, extended family, neighbours and friends .
May John’s Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace
John will repose at Wards Funeral Home Ballybay (A75H585) tomorrow Wednesday afternoon from 5pm until 8pm. Johns funeral cortège will travel from Wards Funeral Home Ballybay on Thursday morning at 11:15am to arrive at St Patrick’s Church Shercock for Funeral Mass at 12noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Formerly of Co. Kildare and late of Mountnugent Co. Cavan. Matthew passed away peacefully under the very caring staff of Cavan General Hospital and their palliative care team.
Beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

Reposing at Our Lady's Chapel, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare on Thursday 8th May from 5pm-7pm, with Rosary Recital at 6.30pm. Removal on Friday the 9th at 10.45am to arrive at St. Peter and Paul's Church Monasterevin for 11am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in St. Evins Cemetery Monasterevin.
Eugene Gilbride
Cloncaw, Glaslough, Monaghan, H18 J793
The death has occurred of Eugene Gilbride Snr, Cloncaw, Glaslough, Co.Monaghan, H18 J793. Tuesday 6th May, surrounded by his loving family at Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his brother John and sister Mary. Eugene will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family; wife Angela, daughter Debbie (Stephen), sons Eugene (Siobhan) and Sean (Deirdre), grandchildren Shauna, James, Rebecca, Shane, Danny and Jaden, sister Betty McKenna (Seamus), brother Nat, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Eugene’s remains will repose at his home on Wednesday from 3pm - 9pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am at St.Marys Church, Glennan. Burial afterwards in Drumbanagher Cemetery.

GARRIFLY, DONAGMOYNE, Carrickmacross, Monaghan / Inniskeen, Monaghan
The death has occurred of RoseMary (Rose) Cunningham née McKenna, Garrifly, Donaghmoyne, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of Sunhill Nursing Home, Termonfeckin.
Beloved wife of the late Owen and dear mother of Marie (Frank Shevlin), Gene (Elizabeth), Breda (Seán Duffy), Claire, Joan (Michael Begley) and Sarah (John Fox), her devoted sister Teresa and brothers Michael, Oliver, Joe, Gerard and Johnny. Fondly remembered by her 17 adored grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Mary and recently by her brothers Patsy and Eamon.
Reposing at her home on Wednesday 7th May from 12 noon til 9pm.
Rose’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Lastra’s Church, Donaghmoyne, on Thursday 8th May at 11am, which may be viewed live here followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
