Peacefully on Friday 9th. May 2025

Assumption Road, Athlone, Co. Westmeath

& late of Leiter, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan.

Predeceased by her husband Joe and daughter Anita. Sadly missed by her loving daughters Celene (Connolly-Kelly) and Georgina (Barrett), sons-in-law Eamon and Caleb, grandchildren Jodi, Luke and Dylan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Flynn's Funeral Home, The Strand, Athlone (N37 WY17) on Sunday evening from 7pm until 9pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon in St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan (A82 VY38) followed by burial afterwards in St. Anne's Cemetery.

Catherine Kenny

(née Byrne)

Rathfarnham, Dublin / Castleblayney, Monaghan

Catherine Kenny (née Byrne), Rathfarnham and formerly of Drumcrew, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully surrounded by her family at home.

Beloved wife of Eugene and cherished mother of Joanne, Caroline and Damien. Predeceased by her dear brother, Declan. Catherine will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her heartbroken children, her adored grandchildren Laragh-Meadhbh, Doireann, Bébhinn, Culann, Amber and Meave, her son-in-law, Eoin and daughter-in-law, Emma. Lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters Bríd, Oliver Martin, Mary, Patrick, Pauline and Josephine, her brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, kind neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

Fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know and love her.

Reposing at home this Tuesday evening, 13th of May from 4pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Ballyroan to arrive for 10am Requiem Mass followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery.

Park Road, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

Peacefully at Castleross Nursing Home.

Predeceased by her husband Seamus, her parents John and Annie, her brothers Pat, Benny and Terry and her sisters Kay (McElvaney), Anna (Tormey) and Phil (Morgan).

Sadly missed by her children Paula (Eamon), Shane (Suzanne), Jim (Carmel), Kathleen (Dermot) and Brenda, grandchildren Aidan, Brian, Dáire, Kevin, Naoise, Conor, Alex, Helen, Ciarán Jake, Grace, John, Shay and Seán, sisters Teresa (Markey) and Rita (Conway), brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at the home of her daughter Kathleen, Cornacassa, Monaghan, (H18VY17) on Sunday (11/05/2025) from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m.

House private at other times please.

Removal on Monday (12/05/2025) at 10.30 a.m., arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.

Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Old Cemetery, Latlurcan.
